MADMED’s Tetori Terminated Amid Hiatus – Group Cites "Serious Violation" (X) |
MADMED has officially cut ties with member Tetori (凸), announcing her contract termination as of 15 May 2025 due to what they’ve described as a “serious breach of contract.”
The news broke late last night via an official statement from MAD’S iNK, and fans have since been left stunned.
Tetori had been on hiatus since 29 April, reportedly to receive medical treatment.
Many supporters had been patiently waiting for updates on her condition, hopeful she’d eventually return to the group. However, behind the scenes, something else was clearly brewing.
In their public statement, MADMED’s management expressed regret, revealing that while they had initially been supportive of her recovery and were open to her return, a major violation of contractual trust came to light.
Details of the breach have not been disclosed, and fans are being asked not to pry or pressure other members for answers—particularly during meet-and-greets or via social media.
“We deeply apologise for the sudden announcement,” the company stated. “This decision was made out of respect for the group’s integrity and the dedication of the other members.”
The wording of the announcement leaves little ambiguity—MADMED considers the breach not only serious but damaging enough to warrant immediate dismissal.
It’s a sharp end for Tetori’s brief but impactful time with the group, which had only begun under MAD’S iNK earlier this year.
Before MADMED, Tetori had a longer idol run under the name Kamisaki Momo (神咲もも), as part of founding lineup of One Chance Yeah Hoi! back in 2018.
She graduated from that group on 2 August 2019 and had been relatively quiet until resurfacing in 2025 with MADMED.
With her departure, Tetori also marks the end of her seven-year idol journey—spanning two groups, two agencies, and plenty of ups and downs.
As of now, neither MAD’S iNK nor Tetori herself have issued any further comment.
Fans across both her past and present fanbases are sharing mixed emotions—some expressing disappointment, others simply wishing her well.
Whatever the story behind the scenes may be, it seems clear this chapter has officially closed.
MADMED will continue as a group without Tetori, and management has reassured fans that their activities will go on as planned.

"Important Announcement from MADMED
To everyone who has always supported us,
Thank you sincerely for your continued support of MADMED.
We would like to provide an update regarding our member, Tetori (凸), who had been on hiatus to focus on her health.
While we had been monitoring her condition and considering the possibility of her return, we have discovered a serious breach of contract that has significantly damaged the trust within the group.
As such, we have made the decision to terminate Tetori’s contract and dismiss her from MADMED as of today, 15 May 2025.
We regard this matter as an extremely irresponsible act, not only towards the fans who have supported us, but also towards the other members who continue to devote themselves sincerely to their activities. Therefore, we have taken this decision as a strict response.
We deeply apologise for the sudden nature of this announcement and for any concern this may cause to our fans and everyone involved.
Though this is a disappointing update, we will continue to move forward with integrity, so as not to betray the support we have received thus far. We would be grateful for your continued encouragement.
We kindly ask that fans refrain from asking members about this matter through social media or at fan events.
