| CGM48 Announces Departure of Meilii from 4th Generation Line-up (X/CGM48) |
CGM48 has announced that 4th Generation Kenkyuusei member, Meilii (Pichayapha Chotalae), has officially left the group, effective immediately.
The announcement was made today, 15 May 2025, via the group's official account on X (formerly Twitter).
According to the statement issued by iAM, the management company behind CGM48, Meilii’s departure is due to ongoing health issues which have prevented her from fulfilling the company’s internal regulations and responsibilities as an idol.
As such, it was mutually agreed by both parties that she would part ways with the group. The decision is said to be in accordance with the terms of her contract.
In line with this, Meilii’s official Facebook page under the name “Meilii CGM48” and Instagram account “Meilii.cgm48official” will be returned to the company.
All future activities she was scheduled to participate in will be cancelled.
The statement further explained that legal reasons prevent the company from disclosing more specific details regarding her situation, and they hope fans and the public will understand the circumstances.

Meilii was introduced in March 2025 as one of the eight promising new faces in CGM48’s 4th Generation, alongside Else, Hongyok, Shene, Satangpound, Valentine, Nisha, and Praifa. Her early departure marks a bittersweet turn for the new generation, who have only just begun their journey in the group.
Fans have taken to social media to express their support and well-wishes for Meilii’s health and future, with many hoping she takes the time she needs to fully recover.
