List of SNH48 Group Members Fired for Red Card Violations

SNH48 Group Red Cards: Members Who Got Fired for Breaking the Rules
Scandals, Sanctions & Suspensions: SNH48 Group’s Long List of Red Carded Idols

A look into the list of idols from SNH48, GNZ48, BEJ48, and more who got sacked for stepping out of line.

In SNH48 GROUP, being a member isn’t just about singing and dancing—it's also about following a strict code of conduct. And if you break the rules? Well, you might just get hit with a Yellow Card (warning) or worse, a Red Card—which usually means you’re out, effective immediately.

Here’s a rundown of some of the most notable firings and dismissals across the SNH48 family, including GNZ48, BEJ48, CKG48, SHY48, and CGT48.

🔴 Chen HongYu (GNZ48) – Derailed by Fan Contact

Chen Hongyu SNH48 Idol Scandals: Who Got Fired, Demoted, or Suspended

A promising idol with decent momentum, Chen HongYu was demoted to trainee status on 4 July 2023 after it came to light she’d allegedly received gifts and possibly votes from a male fan she had direct contact with. While she denied the claims, management wasn’t having it—internal probe = Red Card.

🔴 Zheng Yiwen (GNZ48 Trainee) – Caught Streaming with a Stranger

Zheng Yiwen’s time with GNZ48 was short-lived—she joined in Jan 2021 and was shown the door by September that same year. She was dismissed for doing a live broadcast with a mystery man, during which she also made inappropriate comments.

🔴 Chen Xinyu (GNZ48 / SNH48) – Distressed by a Stalker Fan

Taiwanese-born Chen Xinyu had a longer run, debuting in 2016. She made headlines in 2019 for calling out a persistent male fan who lurked outside the dorms. She warned him publicly before things spiralled. Her Pocket48 access revoked. Eventually, she resigned on 25 April 2020—unclear if it was voluntary or encouraged. Either way, she’s gone quiet since.

🔴 Zhu Liwei a.k.a. "Vita" (BEJ48) – Caught Filming Her Roommate

One of the more shocking cases: Zhu Liwei was booted just over a month after debuting in June 2022. She allegedly filmed her uni roommate showering and sent it to her boyfriend. Needless to say, management didn’t waste time handing out that Red Card.

🔴 Jiang Xin (CKG48) – From Yellow to Red

SNH48 Group Red Card System: Members Who Got Kicked Out or Demoted

Started off with a Yellow Card in Jan 2021 for misconduct. Things got worse when Jiang Xin was found to be dating a girl, violating the group’s infamous “no dating” policy. On 31 May 2022, she was formally dismissed. Tough gig.

🔴 Xiong Sujun (SNH48 → BEJ48 → CKG48) – Repeated Offences

An SNH48 5th Generation member who rotated through multiple teams. Xiong Sujun announced a hiatus in 2020 but returned via CKG48 in 2021. Unfortunately, her comeback didn’t last—fired in July 2022 for inappropriate behaviour towards staff and fellow members.

🔴 Zhong Jiewen a.k.a. Zoe/Zeo (CGT48) – Red Card Within a Year

Why These SNH48, GNZ48, and BEJ48 Members Were Removed, Fired, Dismissed

Zeo joined as a GNZ48 trainee in late 2022, moved to CGT48’s Team CII in mid-2023, and was already facing disciplinary action by September. Zhong Jiewen got downgraded for violating “Member Ethics Rule 8” but after further investigation, management suspended her social media, wiped her from the team, and issued a full Red Card.

⚠️ Notable Past Dismissals & Demotions in SNH48 History

These aren’t the first (or last) cases. Here are some classic ones fans still remember:

  • Cheng WenLu (Team XII) – Dismissed in 2016 after repeated rule violations that hurt both her image and the group’s. The company even chased contract penalties.

  • Zhao MengTing (Team HII) – Fired in 2017 for being disrespectful to a dance teacher.

  • Wu ZheHan (Team SII) – Demoted in 2015 for having private contact with fans.

  • Chen Yin – Resigned in 2017 amid dating rumours.

  • Xu ShiQi – Stepped down in 2018 after her secret fiancé and honeymoon were exposed.

  • Zhang DanSan – Transferred in 2019 after dating rumours.

  • Luo Lan – Hit scandal in 2013 after leaked photos and false info. Issued an apology.

  • Wang BaiShuo – Demoted in 2018, also for suspected dating.

  • Jiang Shan – Suspended in 2016 due to fan contact abroad.

Feng Xinduo - One of the more well-known faces from SNH48’s Team NII and later BEJ48, landed in hot water back in early 2020 when a CCTV footage showed her apparently living at the apartment of Lu Siheng, a trainee from Produce Camp 2019. Now, considering SNH48 Group’s strict "no dating" rule, that sparked a whole scandal — especially since she was supposed to be staying at the official dorm.

She tried to brush it off at first, saying they were just friends and that her move to BEJ48 was just for more work opportunities. But the person who posted the video clapped back, claiming she was lying and just trying to do damage control.

Not long after, Feng Xin Duo ended up leaving both SNH48 and BEJ48. Some fans were gutted, while others argued she was almost 28 anyway, and maybe the no-dating rule shouldn't even apply by that point.

Then, in 2023, things got even messier — she got hit with a massive court order to pay over a million yuan due to a contract dispute with her former agency, STAR48. That also landed her on a high-spender blacklist in China.

SNH48 GROUP doesn’t mess about when it comes to discipline. Whether it’s dating, secret livestreams, or worse, invasive behaviour, idols are held to high standards—and there’s little room for second chances. It's a tough system, but that’s showbiz under the 48G umbrella in China.

For newer fans, it’s a reminder that being an idol isn’t just about being cute and talented—it’s also about walking the line. One wrong move and it’s not just your fans saying goodbye—it’s your career.
