SNH48 GROUP is back with its biggest event of the year — the 12th General Election is officially kicking off on 31 May 2025, and for the first time ever, the grand finale will take place outside mainland China, in none other than AsiaWorld-Expo, Hong Kong, on 2 August 2025.
Yep, you read that right — SNH48, GNZ48, BEJ48, CKG48, and CGT48 are all sending in their best and brightest (yep, over 200 members!) to battle it out for votes, ranks, and a chance to shine on the global stage.
This year’s theme? Youth shaking the world.
And trust us — it’s already got our hearts racing.

A Game-Changer with an AI Twist
What makes this election different from the past ones? For starters, it's backed by “Dancing Parrot”, a virtual idol simulation x AI-audition platform (yes, really).
It’s the world’s first of its kind, and it's swooping in as the main sponsor — bringing a digital edge to this very real idol race.
The voting system stays classic though: fans will cast their votes using voice cards bundled in the group’s latest summer EP, Bye Bad Bye, starting 31 May at 10:00 CST and running until 2 August at 18:00 CST.
