According to Sohu, the Chinese actress and idol is taking legal action against a tech company over a portrait rights dispute.
Details from Tianyancha, a Chinese business information platform, show that a new court hearing notice has popped up involving Yang Chaoyue and Qingdao Chunxuan Technology Co., Ltd.
She’s listed as the plaintiff, which means she’s the one who kicked off the lawsuit.
The whole thing is set to go to trial on 4 August at the People’s Court in Jing’an District, Shanghai.
