Mei Ching Lam Officially Ends 24-Year Marriage |
After 24 years of love, pain, and repeated reconciliations, Mei Ching Lam has officially closed the door on her marriage to Sun Xing.
In a heartfelt, no-nonsense post today (April 8), she revealed that they’ve finally signed the divorce papers — making their separation legal at last.
“From now on,” she wrote, “any of his actions have nothing to do with me or my son.”
It’s a bold statement, one that signals a clean break from a relationship that’s clearly been through a lot.
Fans will know this isn’t the first time these two have split. In fact, they’ve broken up and reunited more than once — the last time being late last year.
Back then, the pair had said they wanted to “live in the moment” and were cherishing the familiar warmth of old love.

But in between all that, Sun Xing had also been in a public relationship with a wealthy businesswoman nicknamed “Swallow.”
He once described her as very understanding and tolerant — while still being legally married to Lam.
Things seemed back on track by the end of 2023, when reports showed the couple spending time together again. Edison
Media even confirmed that Sun had split with Swallow, and that he and Lam were giving it another go.
Then came the emotional twist on April 4, when Mei Ching Lam posted a photo of herself crying and used the word “graduation” to describe the end of her relationship.
She hinted at lessons learned the hard way and said she wasn’t “smart enough” before — but she was ready now to move on.
And move on she has.
In today’s long post, Stephenie Lam Mei Ching made it clear she’s done compromising.

“This time, I won’t feel wronged anymore,” she wrote. “No more silence, no more denying my own feelings. The past ends here. I won't carry anyone else’s mistakes anymore.”
She also shared that she’s not letting go to forgive — but to free herself.
There’s a real power in her words. You can tell this isn’t just a break-up post — it’s a reclaiming of self-worth, of clarity, of courage. “I deserve love. I deserve happiness,” she said. “From now on, my son and I will live each day well. I’m not afraid to start again.”
She thanked her family and friends who supported her through the years and signed off with determination: ready to embrace love, possibilities, and a whole new chapter.
As of now, Sun Xing hasn’t said a word publicly about the divorce.
But honestly? Mei Ching Lam’s said more than enough for both of them.
