Melody Nurramdhani, former JKT48 member and now General Manager of the theatre, has once again left fans disappointed.
All because of the original setlist promise that still hasn’t materialised.
Back in 2021, Melody assured fans that JKT48 would finally get its own original theatre setlist by 2022.
But here we are in 2025, and there’s still no clarity.
During a podcast on 98.7 Gen FM Jakarta, the host asked about the project’s status, and yet again, Melody simply responded with, "On Progress"—the same answer she’s been giving since 2022.
Things got so bad that Melody even avoided social media for a whole year, from 2022 to 2023, because she felt bombarded by fans constantly asking about the long-overdue project.

Fans’ frustration boiled over when they started comparing JKT48 to BNK48.
The Thai group only took less than two months from announcing their original setlist to actually performing it.
Meanwhile, JKT48 fans have been waiting for years with nothing but vague responses.
To make matters worse, several members who were supposed to be part of this original setlist have already left the group—some due to scandals, others through official graduations.
Now, fans are beginning to question Melody’s leadership at JKT48.
The nickname "Meloflop" has started circulating among wota community as a jab at her unfulfilled promises.
Fans are hoping for a proper update on the project soon—rather than yet another "On Progress."
