Bai Lu isn’t one to fuss over her character’s makeup—she leaves that to the experts!
The actress, currently starring in Northward, recently revealed in an interview that she never interferes with styling decisions.
“For me, an actor’s job is to act, not to decide on makeup or costumes,” Bai said.
She fully trusts the director and production team to handle the visual aspects, allowing her to focus solely on her performance.
She shared that there were three to four rounds of adjustments for her costume and makeup before filming.
The team kept refining the look to match the director’s vision.
“They always make improvements, and I believe they know best,” she added.
For Bai Lu, it’s all about staying in character rather than worrying about eyeliner or dress fittings.
She also mentioned she’s now more selective with her drama roles, hinting that she’s prioritising quality over quantity in her acting career.
