Yabai T-Shirts Yasan Stops Concert Amid Molestation Incident

A shocking incident interrupted Yabai T-Shirts Yasan's concert on 23 January at Tokyo's Toyosu PIT.

A woman in the audience fell victim to molestation, prompting her to display a red "SOS" message on her phone towards the stage.

The band immediately halted the performance, and the perpetrator was quickly arrested after police were called.

In an official statement shared on 6 February, the group apologised to the victim, expressing deep regret and condemning such behaviour as a serious crime.

They thanked the victim for her bravery and all who helped bring the culprit to justice.

The band emphasised their commitment to preventing similar incidents and ensuring a safe concert experience for everyone.

The group's statement read, "Molestation is a grave crime. It robs victims of their enjoyment and instils fear about attending future events. We firmly condemn such acts and will strive to create a safe environment for all attendees."

The use of the "SOS" message proved crucial in addressing the situation swiftly, and the band encouraged its use for emergencies during future performances.

This incident has sparked renewed calls for stronger measures to combat harassment at live events, ensuring music lovers can enjoy performances without fear or discomfort.
