Model and actress Karen Takizawa, 32, is expecting her first child! Stardust Promotion, her agency, confirmed the exciting news to media today.
Karen, who married an architect back in July 2022, shared her joy on Instagram with a touching post featuring her husband and their dog.
"I can still remember the season and scenery when we first met," she wrote. "He colours my world so beautifully."
Born in Tokyo on 13 May 1992, Karen has had a dazzling career since winning 'Miss Seventeen 2008.' She modelled for Seventeen and JJ before becoming an exclusive face for Oggi in 2020.
She's also known for her acting roles, debuting in the 2019 drama G Senjou no Anata to Watashi.
Takizawa Karen has starred in films like The Mole Song: Final and lent her voice to anime projects such as Kagami no Kojou.
Her talents extend to cooking too—her 2020 recipe book Karen's Kitchen won a top award in 2021.
Now, Karen’s about to embark on her biggest role yet: becoming a mum!
