Big news from Yumekui NEON! Founding member Masamune is set to graduate from the group on 28 February 2025.
This marks the end of his journey with the group, where he has been a key figure since day one.
Masamune, whose real name is Usui Masamune, has been in the idol scene for years.
He was a founding member of #TOPNOTE before leaving in 2020, then joined AdabanaTOXiC in 2021 until they went inactive later that year.
In 2022, he helped launch Yumekui NEON and has been part of their rise ever since.
His final performance will take place at Yokohama 1000CLUB, where the regular show "Yumekui Charging! vol.96%" will be turned into "Masamune Graduation LIVE."
After that, the group will continue with six members.
In an emotional statement, Masamune Usui admitted struggling with his self-worth as an idol.
He reflected on his journey, the ups and downs, and the support from fans that kept him going.
However, after much thought, he decided it was time to move on.
He promised to give his all until his final day and thanked everyone who has supported him.
“I’ve been able to shine on stage because of you,” he said.
