AKB48 Team TP Announces 9th Single Titled "Team UP".
AKB48 Team TP is set to make their first comeback of 2025 with their highly anticipated 9th single, "Team UP."
Scheduled for release on 19 February 2025, the single will mark the group’s third original single.
Tsai Yi-jou will lead as the centre for the title track "Team UP," a powerful anthem performed by selected senbatsu members.
The single also features two additional original songs: "Qiji Shunjian" (Miracle Moment) with Chen Jia-Yi as the centre, and "Weixiao ED" (Smile ED), performed by second-generation members.
This release is particularly significant as it serves as a farewell to the remaining second-generation members, who are set to graduate soon.
Announced back in October 2024, "Team UP" highlights AKB48 Team TP’s dedication to producing fresh, original content, solidifying their reputation in the J-pop scene.
Fans are eagerly awaiting this new milestone for the Taiwan-based sister group of AKB48.
