Welcoming this celebration, CCTV will hold a Chinese New Year event.
Today, they have announced a number of guest stars for the event to welcome this new year as well as this spring festival.
This program is a well-known program in China, even in the same level as NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen in Japan.
In the list of artists who performed, AKB48 Team SH appeared as part of the show star.
Interestingly on that list, AKB48 Team SH was written as "AKB48 China (Branch of Tokyo Japan)".
The group will perform with the song Shanlianh de Xingyun or Heavy Rotation.
Apparently those members of AKB48 Team SH will meet with Ju Jingyi, a former SNH48 member.
Ju Jingyi is also scheduled to appear with other major local artists.
