Anime Expo 2025's lineup just got a serious level-up—KING RECORDS is officially back and they’re bringing not just one, but two AX-exclusive film experiences to Los Angeles.
Whether you’re a HypMic Division stan or ride-or-die for UtaPri’s QUARTET NIGHT, this year’s screenings are shaping up to be louder, flashier, and more interactive than ever before.

🎤 HYPNOSISMIC -Division Rap Battle- Movie (AX Special Version)
Japan’s first interactive anime film is coming in hot—again.
The boys of HypMic are taking over the big screen in a cinema experience like no other.
Using the CtrlMovie App (yep, it’s free), fans get to vote live during the film to decide who wins each division battle.
Different screening, different results—so if you’re repping Buster Bros or Mad Trigger Crew, you might want to come back more than once.
Expect chaos, cheering, and a lot of screaming when your Division gets knocked out.

🌙 Utano☆Princesama TABOO NIGHT XXXX (AX Special Version)
QUARTET NIGHT are back, and this time… it’s strictly after dark.
The third film instalment in the UtaPri cinematic universe is coming in spicy.
Following on from KINGDOM and ST☆RISH TOURS, TABOO NIGHT XXXX is a bold, brand-new storyline headlined by fan-fave unit QUARTET NIGHT—serving fresh vibes, daring themes, and probably more glitter than your retinas can handle.
Word is, the AX Special Version includes scenes not yet shown in Japan.
Oh, and there’ll be special giveaways too—because UtaPri events never arrive empty-handed.
