The Australian romantic comedy has built its charm around the fact that Gordon and Ashley are hardly the picture of a perfectly functioning couple. Their relationship began with an unlikely roadside accident, an injured dog and a vet bill neither of them particularly wanted to deal with.
Somehow, that chaotic meeting turned into something far more complicated, and over three seasons, the pair have had to navigate romance, family problems, work troubles and the sort of everyday disasters that make normal life look suspiciously well organised.
Season 3 moves the story forward by several years, bringing Gordon and Ashley back into each other's orbit and once again putting their relationship under pressure.
