Yamazoe Kan, the 41-year-old comedian from Japanese manzai duo Aiseki Start, has found himself at the centre of fresh entertainment chatter after a report described two very different late-night encounters with women just one week apart. The comedian, who has become a familiar face through TBS’s Lavitt! and his radio work on Sakurabashi 919, appears increasingly committed to living life on his own terms, even if his private choices occasionally produce the sort of headlines that write themselves.
The report details two separate evenings involving Yamazoe, beginning with an encounter with a half-Japanese model identified as A, followed seven days later by another late-night outing with a different woman identified as B.

A week later, however, the scene reportedly looked rather different. After another edition of his late-night radio programme, Yamazoe Kan was seen heading towards Shibuya with B, described in the report as a young woman with a different appearance and style from A.
The two were subsequently reported to have spent the night together, creating the contrast that has become the central focus of the latest coverage surrounding the comedian.
The reports have also revived interest in Yamazoe’s recent decision to leave his Tokyo tower flat and return to Masumaso, a shared house connected to fellow comedians.
He had previously lived there before moving into the more luxurious property, but later chose to return. Rather than presenting the move as a step backwards, Yamazoe has spoken about finding greater enjoyment in a less conventional lifestyle.
