The compilation certainly makes the resemblance easy to spot. Put the images next to one another and there is a familiar visual pattern: Tian Xiwei's face framed by a straight fringe, often giving her characters a similar overall silhouette even when the costumes, settings and personalities are completely different.
It is the sort of thing that becomes much more noticeable when 16 photographs are placed together than it would while watching each drama separately. But there is a fairly important catch. Calling the collage a definitive record of Tian Xiwei's last 16 dramas is not quite accurate.
