Love Is Blind UK Season 3: Are Ciara and Ajay Still Together After the Show?

Ciara Murphy and Ajay Cheema emerged from the Love Is Blind: UK season 3 pods as one of the show's more unexpected matches, but their relationship quickly proved that opposite personalities can work when both people are willing to meet somewhere in the middle. Ciara was the lively, playful half of the pairing, while Ajay brought a calmer and more measured energy. They did not have the smoothest journey once the pods were behind them, but every major wobble ultimately gave them another reason to understand each other rather than call it quits.

Based on everything shown during their journey, Ciara and Ajay appear to have remained together and may well have gone on to marry, although they have kept their current relationship status relatively private.

The couple's story was never completely free of friction, but that may actually be what made them stand out. Their relationship was less about pretending everything was perfect and more about discovering whether two very different people could actually make room for each other.

When Ajay first connected with Ciara in the pods, he quickly decided that she was his preferred match. The problem was that Ciara was exploring other connections at the same time, including Jack Bradshaw, so Ajay initially kept his feelings close to his chest.

His disappointment became particularly obvious after Jack returned from a date and revealed that he and Ciara had identified each other as their top choices. For Ajay, it was hardly the romantic plot twist he had ordered.

Ciara eventually came to the conclusion that Ajay was the person who suited her best. Once she made that clear, Ajay wasted little time and proposed after only a handful of dates.

Their engagement was therefore built on a fairly intense emotional connection formed without seeing each other, but the real test was always going to come when the cameras moved them into the outside world.

The retreat was not exactly peaceful, particularly because of the unresolved tension surrounding Ciara and Jack. Ciara had warned Jack's chosen partner, Faye Domaille, about him, leaving an awkward cloud hanging over the group.

Throughout that period, Ajay became an important source of stability for Ciara. His quieter personality gave her somewhere to retreat when the surrounding drama became a little too much, and she appeared increasingly appreciative of having someone who could keep her grounded.

Once they returned to everyday life, however, their differences became much more practical. Ciara jokingly suggested that she could sit back while Ajay looked after her, and Ajay initially went along with the playful dynamic.

Beneath the jokes, though, there were serious conversations about money, work and expectations. Ajay explained that he was changing careers and would need time to establish himself financially, while also making it clear that he was no longer interested in spending as freely as he once had.

Ciara appeared understanding at first, but an argument soon exposed some of the pressure underneath their relationship. Ajay had explained that his parents were uncomfortable with being filmed, and he felt Ciara had not responded with the understanding he needed. Instead, he believed she had continued pushing the issue, leaving him questioning what her reaction meant for their future together.

Money became another point of tension. Ajay felt one of their dates had been particularly expensive and began wondering whether Ciara expected that kind of spending to become normal.

It was a fairly ordinary relationship disagreement, really, except that they were navigating it under the microscope of a reality series while also deciding whether they were ready for marriage. Nothing says “romantic milestone” quite like an argument about the dinner bill.

Importantly, Ciara recognised that she had pushed things too far. After speaking with her friends, she admitted that she had behaved unreasonably and had effectively been testing Ajay by seeing how far she could push his boundaries.

Rather than doubling down, she acknowledged her mistake directly to him. That moment appeared to change the tone of their relationship, because Ajay could see that she was willing to reflect on her behaviour rather than simply expect him to accept it.

Their relationship also appeared to strengthen when Ajay's parents visited. Their reception towards Ciara was positive, giving the couple another reassuring moment after the uncertainty surrounding his family's privacy.

Ciara subsequently organised a small Diwali celebration at home for the two of them, a gesture that showed she wanted to understand and embrace an important part of Ajay's background and home life.

That effort mattered because their relationship had increasingly become less about the initial attraction and more about whether they could genuinely build a shared life.

Ajay had demonstrated that he was prepared to stand beside Ciara when situations became complicated, while Ciara showed that she could recognise when she had contributed to a problem and make an effort to repair it. For a relationship that began with two strangers talking through a wall, that is a fairly substantial development.

The reactions from fans have naturally been mixed. Some viewers have appreciated the fact that Ciara and Ajay actually confronted their differences instead of treating every disagreement as proof that the relationship was doomed

Others have been more sceptical of how quickly they moved from meeting in the pods to discussing marriage, particularly given how much remained unknown about each other's lives.

Their contrasting personalities have also divided opinion, with some finding their “calm meets chaotic” energy charming and others wondering whether those differences could eventually become exhausting.

Still, the strongest argument in their favour is the way they responded after conflict. Neither seemed particularly interested in walking away at the first sign of difficulty.

Ajay communicated his concerns, Ciara accepted responsibility for her part in the disagreement, and both made visible efforts to understand where the other was coming from. That does not guarantee a lifelong relationship, but it is considerably more useful than simply agreeing with each other for the sake of television.

Their lives outside the show also appear to be moving in compatible directions. Ciara Murphy works as a Pilates instructor in London, teaching across studios including The Studio at 1a, Level Out London, PYC Studios and Maison Pilates Studio.

Originally from Ireland, she has established a fitness-focused career in the capital and appears to have built a lifestyle that fits naturally with her professional work.

Ajay Cheema, meanwhile, has taken a rather different route into the fitness world. Before becoming a personal trainer, he worked in banking and finance, including roles connected with Rabobank and HSBC, and gained early commercial experience through an internship at The Walt Disney Company

He studied Economics and Finance at Brunel University of London before completing a Professional Diploma in Banking and Finance at LIBF.

Ajay's background also includes basketball, having attended Oakland Community College in the United States after earning an opportunity to play at a nationally ranked junior college.

His later move into personal training represents a significant change from finance, but it gives him a career more closely connected to his interests. He now works with clients through individual coaching as well as online and digital fitness programmes.

That shared connection to fitness could prove useful if Ciara and Ajay are still building their relationship away from the show. Their careers appear to give them a similar appreciation for an active lifestyle, while their professional paths remain distinct enough for each to maintain their own identity.

And considering how many Love Is Blind couples struggle once the experiment ends, having something resembling a normal routine might not be the worst advantage.

The big question, of course, is whether they actually made it to the other side of the experiment as husband and wife. The material provided here points towards that possibility, with their relationship ending on a much stronger footing after the conflicts involving family, finances and expectations.

However, the pair have not publicly shared enough detail to make every aspect of their current status certain, so claims about their life after filming should be treated with some caution.

For now, Ciara and Ajay's Love Is Blind UK season 3 story looks more promising than their early disagreements might have suggested. They began as an unlikely match, survived competing connections, navigated family boundaries, argued about money and expectations, and still found ways to come back towards each other.

Whether they are enjoying married life today or simply continuing their relationship away from the cameras, their story has certainly given fans plenty to debate. What do you make of Ciara and Ajay's relationship — did you see them as a genuine match from the pods, or were you surprised they managed to get this far?
