He later joined Unilever, overseeing internal audit, risk management and internal controls across South Latin America before taking on his current position as Internal Audit Manager at GCDI in 2023.
Walter has often expressed pride in the path he has created for himself. Throughout the series, he confidently stated that he was "happy with the life" he had built, adding that the only thing missing was someone to share it with.
His career reflects the same mindset, with colleagues recognising his analytical thinking, calm approach under pressure and willingness to take on significant responsibility. Building spreadsheets may not sound glamorous on television, but for Walter, consistency has clearly been a winning strategy.
Today, the 41-year-old continues enjoying life away from the cameras in Buenos Aires. Although he keeps much of his personal life private, he frequently spends time with his parents, siblings, two nephews and close friends.
Having grown up in a family that worked tirelessly despite limited opportunities, he has never hidden how much that upbringing shaped his ambition and determination.
Travel has also become one of Walter's biggest passions. Over the years, he has explored destinations including England, Spain, Austria, Finland, Estonia, Romania, Hungary, Turkey, Brazil, Peru and most recently Miami, Florida, where he travelled in March 2026. His social media reflects someone making the most of every opportunity, proving there is plenty of adventure after reality television.
Animal lovers also remember Walter's affection for his beloved dog, Beto, whose passing left a lasting impact on him. Although he has yet to welcome another dog into his life, many fans hope that chapter eventually changes, knowing how openly he spoke about the joy Beto brought him.
