The romantic drama starring Daniel Zhou Keyu and Bao Shangen has left viewers wondering whether the story has really reached its destination or simply stopped at a very suspicious-looking bus stop before another season. With lingering storylines, rumoured production chatter and fans refusing to let go, speculation about Season 2 has gathered pace despite the lack of any official announcement.

If another season were to happen, it could explore the couple's married life after the dramatic ending while finally addressing the unresolved conflicts left behind.
The mysterious mastermind behind the kidnapping could return with deeper motives, supporting characters such as Zhao Yingbo's role could receive far more development, and several emotional storylines that were rushed in the closing episodes could finally be given room to breathe.
