The countdown has quietly begun for Neptune In The Sky (ดวงดาวในเวหา), and Thai BL fans already have another title to keep firmly on their 2026 watchlist. Even before an official premiere date has been locked in, the upcoming romantic comedy has generated plenty of conversation thanks to its playful storyline, promising cast and behind-the-scenes clips showing effortless chemistry between the leads. With a mix of romance, comedy and a dash of mystery, the series looks ready to deliver the kind of feel-good entertainment BL viewers rarely ignore.
Adapted from the novel Duang Dao Nai Weha (ดวงดาวในเวหา) by SweetyN, Neptune In The Sky follows superstar Neptune, whose glittering career suddenly takes a sharp detour after a public scandal. Hoping to disappear from the spotlight for a while and experience ordinary life overseas, he rents a shared room expecting peace and anonymity.
Instead, he comes face to face with Kyo, his former high school senior, who just happens to be organised, stubborn, endlessly chatty and perhaps a little too comfortable teasing his unexpected new housemate. Escaping fame, it turns out, is much easier than escaping unresolved chemistry.
The modern mystery romantic comedy is expected to run for around 10 to 12 episodes, balancing heartfelt romance with awkward cohabitation, misunderstandings and plenty of laugh-out-loud moments.
Rather than relying purely on familiar BL storytelling, the series appears to build its appeal around contrasting personalities. Neptune is used to cameras following his every move, while Kyo has absolutely no intention of treating him like a celebrity. If anything, he seems more interested in reminding Neptune to tidy up after himself.
Leading the drama are Frank Thanatsaran Samthonglai, taking on the role of Kyo, alongside Kim Thakorn, who steps into the spotlight as Neptune.
Supporting them is an ensemble cast including Sunny Wannarat Wattadalimma as Heman, Gameplay Garnpaphon Laolerkiat as Film, Yoon Phusanu Wongsavanischakorn as Nakrop, Gun Napat Na Ranong as Tee, Boom Thanut Jiraratchakit as Thup, New Chunnawan Mandee as Mekfhon, Leo Peerapun Chungcharoenpanich as Gun and Babe Pasutwich Tangcharoenrungrueang as Demon.
With several familiar faces joining the production, viewers can expect plenty of entertaining supporting storylines rather than a romance existing in isolation.
Speaking about the project, Frank Thanatsaran Samthonglai shared his excitement, saying, "Kyo is someone who looks strict at first, but he's carrying a warm heart underneath. I hope viewers laugh with him, get frustrated with him and eventually understand why he acts the way he does."
Meanwhile, Kim Thakorn hinted that Neptune's journey is about much more than romance. "Neptune is trying to rediscover who he really is when nobody is watching. The relationship with Kyo changes him in ways he never expected, and I think audiences will enjoy watching that happen."

| Neptune In The Sky Is Already Winning Over BL Fans Before Its 2026 Premiere |
For international viewers wondering where to watch Neptune In The Sky, the series has been confirmed to premiere first through Triple Trio Studio Channel. Additional streaming platforms have yet to be announced, with more distribution partners expected closer to release.
As is common with many recent Thai BL productions, fans outside Thailand are hoping official streaming services will include English subtitles from day one. While those international platform details remain under wraps, production updates suggest more availability announcements will arrive before the premiere.
As for the release date, no official day has been confirmed yet. Current expectations point towards a Q3 2026 launch, although fans should treat that timeframe as an estimate until the production team makes a formal announcement.
The wait may feel long, but at least it gives everyone enough time to prepare another carefully organised BL watching schedule that somehow always ends up becoming much longer than planned.
Part of the growing anticipation comes from preview clips and behind-the-scenes videos already circulating across social media.
Rather than polished promotional footage alone, many fans have focused on the relaxed interactions between Frank Thanatsaran Samthonglai and Kim Thakorn, with viewers saying their natural banter already feels convincing enough to carry the series.
Others have praised the bright visual style, cosy shared-living setting and light-hearted humour, arguing that the drama looks refreshingly comforting after several heavier releases.
Online reactions, however, have not been entirely identical. Some viewers believe the celebrity-meets-former-school-senior storyline sounds like another familiar BL formula, while others argue that execution matters far more than originality.
Many fans have pointed out that the combination of comedy, mystery and romance could give Neptune In The Sky its own personality if the writing delivers. There is also curiosity surrounding how much the adaptation will follow the original novel and whether some storylines will be expanded for television.
What viewers can reasonably expect is a series built around slow-burning romance, witty dialogue, amusing domestic chaos and characters who gradually discover that first impressions rarely tell the whole story.
The shared accommodation alone promises endless opportunities for awkward encounters, playful arguments and reluctant teamwork. After all, nothing says "peaceful new beginning" quite like discovering your unexpected roommate is someone who knows exactly how embarrassing you were back in school.
With its colourful cast, approachable humour and a romance that begins with plenty of playful friction, Neptune In The Sky is already shaping up to be one of the Thai BL dramas attracting attention ahead of its premiere.
Whether it becomes the next breakout favourite will depend on how well it balances comedy with emotional depth, but the early signs have certainly sparked curiosity. Are you adding Neptune In The Sky to your 2026 watchlist, and what are you hoping to see from Neptune and Kyo when the series finally arrives?
