Thai BL fans have another title to circle on the calendar. Match Point (รักนี้ต้องเสิร์ฟ) is arriving with a mix of competitive tennis, family rivalry, sweet romance and plenty of comedy, giving viewers a fresh sports-themed love story that already has plenty of people talking online. Produced for GMMTV and airing on GMM25, the upcoming 10-episode series looks ready to combine heartfelt moments with light humour, proving once again that love can appear in the most inconvenient places—especially when your parents would probably rather see you win a tennis trophy than fall in love with the rival family's son.

Opposite him is Teshow Promsakha as Be, an artistic free spirit whose decision to join the tennis team creates far more chaos than anyone anticipated.
Their fathers, Chun and Bee, own rival dim sum restaurants on Krong Thong Road, with Saming Phon Fai representing tradition while Merlion has become the neighbourhood's fashionable newcomer famous for its shumai. Apparently, family business meetings are much more dramatic when dumplings and tennis scores are involved.
The supporting cast also brings extra personality to the story, surrounding the central pairing with classmates, coaches, family members and neighbours who all become caught in the increasingly complicated rivalry.
While Ping Krittanun and Teshow Promsakha headline the series, viewers can expect an ensemble that helps balance the comedy, emotional family conflicts and sports competition throughout all ten episodes.
The story begins with a straightforward rivalry. Sun hopes to enjoy a peaceful final semester, while Be deliberately joins the tennis try-outs simply to challenge him. When Sun suffers an injury and unexpectedly loses, the school principal orders a rematch.
Their fathers then raise the stakes considerably, agreeing that whichever family loses must permanently close its dim sum restaurant. Because apparently discussing problems over tea was considered far too reasonable.
Everything changes when circumstances force Sun and Be to compete together instead of against each other. Sent to a training camp outside the city as the school's men's doubles representatives, the pair slowly begin looking beyond first impressions.
The distance from their families allows honest conversations, unexpected friendships and eventually romance to grow. They soon make a daring promise of their own. If they become men's doubles champions, their fathers must finally accept their relationship.
If they lose, they agree never to see each other again. Suddenly every tennis match carries considerably more pressure than simply winning a trophy.

Speaking about the project during promotional activities, Ping Krittanun shared that he was excited to portray a character who learns that strength is not measured only through sporting success.
"Sun always believes he has to carry every responsibility himself, but meeting Be changes how he sees everything. I hope viewers enjoy watching him grow."
His co-star Teshow Promsakha also expressed enthusiasm for the series, saying, "Be brings colour wherever he goes. He's playful, confident and sometimes creates problems without even trying.
But underneath all that, he genuinely wants people to understand each other. I think audiences will smile a lot while watching these two." Early preview clips and behind-the-scenes videos have already generated lively discussion across social media.
