The second season of A Shop for Killers (킬러들의 쇼핑몰 시즌2) is still unfolding on Disney+, but plenty of viewers are already looking beyond the current episodes. As new storylines continue to unfold and bigger threats emerge, many fans believe the series is quietly laying the foundations for a third season. Nothing has been officially announced, yet the growing scale of the story has convinced audiences that there is still plenty left to explore before this dangerous world reaches its final chapter.
Recent episodes have only added to that belief. If A Shop for Killers does secure a third season, the story appears to have several obvious directions. The conflict with Babylon remains far from settled, and every episode reinforces that the organisation is much larger than viewers initially believed.
Rather than focusing on survival alone, the Korean drama next chapter could push the battle onto an international stage as Babylon extends its influence across Asia-Pacific, forcing Ji-an and Jin-man into their biggest confrontation yet.
One of the most exciting possibilities would be watching Jeong Ji-an, played by Kim Hye-jun, fully embrace her role as the leader of Murthelp. She has gradually evolved from an ordinary young woman trying to stay alive into someone capable of making impossible decisions under pressure.
A Shop for Killers Season 3 could finally see her managing the underground operation herself, commanding allies across multiple countries and proving she deserves to inherit her uncle's dangerous legacy.
Meanwhile, Jeong Jin-man, portrayed by Lee Dong-wook, still has unfinished business. After revealing that his apparent death was nothing more than a calculated deception, he continues operating several moves ahead of everyone else.
A third season could explore his long-running mission against Babylon in greater depth while finally delivering the confrontation fans have been anticipating with his ruthless former rival, Bale.
That rivalry alone feels worthy of another season. Whether the writers choose a brutal tactical showdown, a psychological battle or one final sacrifice, Bale remains the one enemy capable of threatening everything Jin-man has built.
Of course, this series has never been known for handing out comfortable victories, so viewers should probably avoid getting too attached to anyone. This is the kind of drama where surviving an episode already deserves a small celebration.
A Shop for Killers Season 3 could also delve deeper into the mystery surrounding Ji-an's parents. Questions remain about how Babylon became connected to her family and whether hidden secrets from the past could reshape everything viewers thought they knew. Expanding the backstory would add emotional weight while giving the action even greater stakes.
Supporting characters such as Pasin and Min-hye also have plenty of room for further development. Whether they continue protecting Murthelp, establish their own operations or make difficult sacrifices for the greater mission, their futures remain wide open.
The series has built a surprisingly rich network of characters, meaning another season would have no shortage of stories to tell beyond its central duo.
K-netz reaction has been split between cautious optimism and outright confidence. Some viewers believe the growing mythology and expanding cast make a third season feel inevitable, arguing that the world has become too large to conclude quickly.
Others remain more cautious, pointing out that streaming renewals are never guaranteed, regardless of popularity. A few have jokingly suggested that Disney+'s K-Drama executives are probably being chased around by fans asking exactly the same question every single day.
For now, A Shop for Killers Season 3 remains unconfirmed, and all eyes will stay on Disney+ as Season 2 continues.
