| Why TeeTee and Por Chose “VAVA” as Their Official Fandom Name and Bought Stars for Fans |
During a special live event, TeeTee Wanpichit and Por Suppakarn formally introduced the name while also unveiling an official certificate and a charming fandom logo packed with personal details.
The design combines symbols associated with both artists, including the sun, the moon, a dog and a polar bear, creating a playful visual identity that fans immediately embraced. To make the occasion even more memorable, 22 June was declared the official birthday of the VAVA community.
Explaining the meaning behind the name, the pair shared that “VAVA” comes from the pronunciation element “Wa”, inspired by the tonal sound found in both of their names.
While it may sound simple at first glance, the meaning goes much deeper. According to Por, he represents the moon while TeeTee symbolises the sun.
Fans, meanwhile, are seen as countless stars shining across the night sky. Together, the concept creates a universe where artists and supporters are connected through the same sky.
Por explained during the broadcast, “If I am the moon and TeeTee is the sun, then our fans are the stars that make the sky complete.” TeeTee added that the fandom would be known as “VAVA Star”, giving supporters a special place within the identity they have built together.
It was a sentimental explanation, though fans jokingly pointed out online that they were expecting a simple fandom name reveal and somehow ended up receiving an entire astronomy lesson.
The surprises did not stop there. In a gesture that many supporters described as thoughtful and unexpectedly touching, TeeTee and Por revealed that they had adopted and named a pair of twin stars “VAVA” as a gift for their fandom.
While some artists hand out merchandise and photo cards, the duo decided to head straight for the cosmos. Fans were quick to note that it was a fitting extension of the moon, sun and star concept that now defines the community.
Online reactions arrived almost instantly and in every possible form. Many fans praised the meaning behind the name, calling it creative, heartfelt and perfectly suited to the pair's image.
Others became emotional after hearing the explanation about stars connecting fans to the artists. Several posts described the announcement as one of the sweetest fandom launches they had seen in recent years.
Of course, social media would not be social media without a little humour. Some netizens joked that the fandom now sounds like it belongs in a galaxy rather than a fan club, while others laughed that TeeTee and Por had raised expectations so high that future fan gifts might have to involve naming a planet.
Even so, the playful comments remained overwhelmingly positive, reflecting the warm atmosphere surrounding the announcement. One of the most memorable moments of the event came when TeeTee Wanpichit and Por Suppakarn officially addressed their supporters as “VAVA” for the first time.
It was a small gesture on paper, but for long-time followers it carried significant meaning. After months of waiting, fans finally had a name, an identity and a place within the duo's growing story.
With VAVA now officially launched, the fandom enters a new era backed by a meaningful concept, a distinctive logo and, quite literally, a pair of stars in the sky.
Whether fans are drawn to the symbolism, the heartfelt message or simply the fact that their favourite duo somehow turned a fandom reveal into a cosmic event, one thing is clear: the VAVA family has officially arrived. What do you think of the name and its meaning? Is VAVA one of the most memorable fandom names introduced this year, or do you have another favourite?
