Thailand's supernatural romance phenomenon Khemjira The Series (เขมจิราต้องรอด) is heading into a brand-new chapter after Domundi TV officially announced Khemjira The Animation during the highly anticipated DMD LINEUP 2026 event on 18 June. The surprise reveal instantly became one of the biggest talking points from the showcase, not only because of the series' devoted fanbase but also because it marks Domundi's very first venture into animation. One of the biggest announcements accompanying the anime adaptation is the return of the original stars. Namping Napatsakorn is expected to voice Khem, while Keng Harit returns as Pharan, giving fans a familiar connection between the live-action series and the animated version. Speaking about the project, Namping Napatsakorn shared his excitement.
"Khem has always been a character very close to my heart. When I heard we were bringing his story into animation, I was honestly surprised and thrilled. Anime allows us to show parts of Khem's fears, emotions and supernatural experiences in a much bigger way. I can't wait for fans to see what we've been working on."

Meanwhile, Keng Harit joked that stepping back into Pharan's world felt both exciting and slightly dangerous.
"Every time Pharan appears, something strange seems to happen. Now he's entering animation, which probably means the spirits have a bigger budget too. Seriously though, it's an honour to return. The animation team is creating something visually stunning, and I think fans will see a side of Pharan they've never seen before."
While Domundi has not confirmed an official premiere date, industry chatter and fan speculation are increasingly pointing towards a potential Q4 2026 release window.
That timeline would allow the studio ample time to develop high-quality animation while maintaining the emotional depth and supernatural atmosphere that made the original series such a success.
