Is Jesse Ren dating anyone? According to the actor himself, the answer is currently no. While promoting his latest drama Fascination, the rising Chinese star found himself answering the question that seems to follow almost every popular actor these days: who is he dating? For fans hoping for a surprise romance reveal, Jesse Ren (Ren Yunjie) delivered a straightforward response. His focus, he said, remains firmly on work, upcoming projects and making sure he has enough hours in the day to sleep.
The actor, a graduate of the Central Academy of Drama and one of the most recognisable faces in China's booming short-drama industry, admitted that romance is simply not a priority at this stage of his career.
While many celebrities have recently become more open about their personal relationships, Jesse joked that he is not feeling pressured to follow the trend.
“I’m not dating anyone at the moment,” he explained during the interview. “I see many people sharing their relationships publicly, but everyone’s situation is different. Right now, my attention is on my work.”
He went on to explain that his packed schedule leaves very little room for maintaining a serious relationship. In a refreshingly practical answer that many working adults could probably relate to, Jesse said that even if he did have a partner, finding time together would be difficult.
“I have a lot of things to do every day. Even if I had someone in my life, there would be very limited time to talk on the phone, let alone meet regularly. I don’t think it would be fair to either person if there isn’t enough time to build something meaningful.”

“Maybe I’ll just let things happen the way they should,” he said calmly. “If the right person comes along at the right time, then great. But for now, I’m not looking for anything.”
