The legal notices specifically denied accusations involving educational background fabrication, manipulation of actor billing positions, improper professional title applications, romance rumours, interference in production writing decisions and alleged unusually close relationships with personnel connected to Jiangsu Cultural Investment Group.
The legal battle also extends to screenwriter Meng Qiqi, whose public criticism regarding the production process of the upcoming drama Mo Li attracted significant attention earlier this year.
Meng Qiqi questioned whether the original writing team had been replaced and suggested that creative decisions may have been influenced by factors outside normal production procedures. Those comments quickly became one of the most discussed topics among Chinese drama fans.
In response, Bai Lu's representatives stated that the actress was never involved in selecting screenwriters or making script-related decisions.
