Ticket to Heaven (เด็กชายไม่ไปสวรรค์) has finally stopped living inside fan theories and teaser edits because GMMTV has now confirmed its official premiere date, broadcast details and first full trailer. And honestly, the reaction online has been exactly what people expected: emotional panic, dramatic keyboard smashing, and viewers already preparing tissues before Episode 1 has even aired.
The upcoming Thai BL series stars fan-favourite pairing Gemini Norawit Titicharoenrak and Fourth Nattawat Jirochtikul, better known to half the internet as the duo capable of making audiences smile one second and emotionally collapse the next.
This time, however, the pair are stepping into much heavier territory with a coming-of-age romance wrapped around faith, guilt, identity and forbidden feelings inside a strict Catholic school environment. So yes, viewers expecting only fluffy flirting and soft guitar music may want to emotionally prepare themselves a little.
Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Aof Noppharnach Chaiyahwimhon, the five-episode series has already become one of the most anticipated Thai BL dramas of 2026 despite not even premiering yet.
The director revealed the project had been in development for nearly two years, which explains why the trailer looks less like a rushed television drama and more like someone accidentally gave an indie romance film a premium soundtrack budget.
The story follows Tanrak, played by Fourth Nattawat Jirochtikul, a deeply religious teenager studying to become a priest at St. Magdalene College in 1996. Tanrak believes the spiritual path will eventually reunite him with his late parents in heaven, meaning the boy is carrying enough emotional weight to fill at least three coming-of-age dramas simultaneously.
His carefully structured life begins to collapse after meeting Barth, portrayed by Gemini Norawit Titicharoenrak, a rebellious transfer student with visible emotional scars and exactly the kind of energy that causes trouble in fiction and real life alike.
As Barth enters the school, Tanrak is tasked with guiding him onto a better path. Naturally, because this is a Thai BL drama and emotional peace is apparently illegal, the arrangement slowly develops into something far more complicated.
Between strict school rules, growing attachment and the watchful eyes of authority figures, Tanrak finds himself torn between devotion, fear and feelings he no longer knows how to suppress.

The trailer released by GMMTV immediately grabbed attention for its striking visuals, piano duet scenes, emotional voiceovers and cinematic atmosphere.
Fans were especially drawn to the chemistry between Gemini and Fourth, which already looks dangerously strong even from short teaser clips. Social media users joked that the pair “do not know how to have normal eye contact” because every emotional stare in the trailer already feels like the emotional climax of an entire series.
International viewers wanting to watch Ticket to Heaven with English subtitles will officially be able to stream the drama through Viu, which currently holds the first announced streaming rights for reruns after broadcast.
The series will first air every Saturday at 8.30pm Thailand time on GMM25, beginning on 30 May 2026, before becoming available for streaming at 9.30pm Thailand time via Viu. English subtitle availability is expected for international fans in supported regions, following GMMTV’s usual release format for global BL audiences.
At the moment, Viu remains the primary confirmed streaming platform outside Thai television broadcast. However, fans are already speculating that additional international distribution platforms could be announced later depending on regional licensing agreements and overseas demand.
Given the enormous popularity of GeminiFourth internationally, viewers fully expect more streaming options to appear sooner rather than later. GMMTV knows exactly how chaotic the global BL fandom becomes when subtitles are delayed by more than twelve minutes.

Beyond the romance itself, viewers are also curious about how the series will balance religious themes with emotional storytelling. The trailer strongly hints at inner conflict, social pressure and questions surrounding identity, but the production appears more focused on emotional sincerity than shock value.
Director Aof Noppharnach Chaiyahwimhon described the series as a heartfelt youth romance, and early footage suggests a softer, melancholic atmosphere rather than pure melodrama.
Fans are also praising the 1990s setting, which gives the series a nostalgic visual identity rarely seen in recent Thai BL productions. The uniforms, old-school classrooms, church imagery and muted cinematography all contribute to the feeling that viewers are stepping into a memory rather than simply watching another campus romance.
One viral comment online described the trailer as “beautiful enough to ruin my mental stability for five consecutive Saturdays”.
The supporting cast has also generated strong interest. Alongside Gemini and Fourth, the series features Ashi Peerakan Teawsuwan as Khongdech, An Oliver Poupart as Father Anon, Bright Rapheephong Thapsuwan as Master Phak, Nok Sinjai Plengpanich as Barth’s mother Bussaya, Tom Phollawat Manuprasert as Barth’s father, Tor Phakawat Tangchatkeaw as Ryu, Guitar Supakorn Kantanit as Prince, Mook Chayada Akiyama as Cherry, Mantra Thamonchita Namkool as Oh, and Pun Poon Sutarom as Kongkit.
The chemistry between the cast already became one of the most discussed topics online after behind-the-scenes clips began circulating across social platforms. Fans noticed how naturally Gemini and Fourth interacted off-camera, with many joking that GMMTV clearly knew exactly what it was doing by pairing them again in a deeply emotional story.
Others admitted they initially expected a lighter romantic comedy before the trailer suddenly hit them with existential questions and dramatic choir music.
At the same time, reactions from viewers have varied in interesting ways. Some fans are excited to see Thai BL dramas experimenting with more layered storytelling and morally conflicted characters, while others remain slightly nervous about how emotionally intense the series may become.
Several viewers admitted they signed up expecting sweet romance and are now mentally preparing for “five weeks of emotional suffering disguised as prestige television”.
Between the lush cinematography, emotional soundtrack, strong performances and the undeniable popularity of GeminiFourth, Ticket to Heaven is already shaping up to become one of GMMTV’s biggest BL releases of 2026 before its first episode has even aired.
And honestly, the real question now is not whether people will watch it. It is whether viewers will survive the emotional damage afterwards. Are you planning to watch Ticket to Heaven when it premieres on 30 May, or are you waiting to see if the fandom survives Episode 1 first?
