Where Are Netflix’s Desi Bling Twins Alizey and Lailli Mirza Now?

Desi Bling twins Alizey and Lailli Mirza now balance Dubai luxury, fashion careers, business and influencer fame after Netflix reality series.

Netflix’s Desi Bling introduced plenty of loud personalities, but nobody stirred up the room quite like Alizey Mirza and Lailli Mirza. The London-born twins walked into season one armed with quick comebacks, expensive outfits, and the kind of sibling alliance that looked impossible to break. Whether viewers loved them or found them exhausting by episode three, the sisters made sure people kept talking. In a cast packed with glamorous chaos, the Mirza twins somehow still managed to dominate the conversation without even trying too hard. Or at least pretending not to.

Throughout the season, Alizey and Lailli built a reputation for fiercely backing their friends while also stepping directly into the middle of nearly every major disagreement. Their support for fellow cast members, especially during emotional moments, made them appear loyal to a fault. At the same time, their fallout with Pamela Serena became one of the show’s longest-running tensions after allegations surfaced involving an ex-boyfriend’s phone number.

The situation snowballed quickly, the awkwardness never really disappeared, and by the finale, reconciliation still looked miles away. Reality television loves unresolved tension, and honestly, the twins delivered exactly that.

The sisters also spoke openly about their Parsi background and Indian-Iranian roots during the series, often crediting their mother, Mona Mirza, for rebuilding their lives in Dubai after relocating there in 2007.

Before that, the twins had already experienced life between London and India, making their upbringing far more international than the average reality TV storyline. They also revealed that while their father, Zeyn Mirza, had connections to the horse racing world and once worked closely with horses owned by businessman Vijay Mallya, they were never especially close to him growing up.

The twins seemed far more focused on the strong female-led household that shaped them into the women audiences now recognise. Since Desi Bling aired, Lailli Mirza has continued expanding her career across fashion, digital media and business.

Based in Dubai, she has balanced corporate responsibilities with influencer life in a way that somehow looks exhausting and glamorous at the same time. After studying International Business at Regent’s University London, she became Chief Executive Officer of Petite The Brand in 2018 while also continuing her work at Biolite Aesthetic Clinic as Business Development Manager.

It is very much a “CEO by day, luxury content creator by night” situation, except the night apparently also includes fashion events, travel shoots and horse riding.

Long before influencer culture became overcrowded with identical beige aesthetics, Lailli and Alizey had already entered the online content world through blogging and YouTube. Their channel, PintsizedFashTV, became one of the earlier South Asian fashion-focused platforms to gain major traction online.

After the twins later separated creatively, Lailli kept the channel under her own direction and shifted it toward fashion, luxury travel and lifestyle content.

The rebrand worked. These days, her online presence leans heavily into polished Dubai luxury with occasional moments that still feel surprisingly personal underneath all the designer labels.

Fashion brands also kept calling. Lailli has modelled for names including Gucci and Bobbi Brown, proving her reality TV fame was never her only industry connection. She has also remained deeply attached to horse riding, something linked to her father’s side of the family.

Social media followers regularly see glimpses of her spending time around horses, and unlike many influencer hobbies that disappear after two weeks, this one clearly stuck. Earlier this year, she welcomed 2026 in Jaipur, India, sharing that it was her first time visiting the city and openly obsessing over the experience afterwards.

Meanwhile, Alizey Mirza quietly built one of the more polished professional resumes among the Desi Bling cast. While reality TV audiences mostly saw her social side, her career path has included journalism, luxury branding, media internships and influencer relations long before many people even knew what influencer relations actually meant.

She studied Journalism at City St George’s, University of London, alongside additional studies in Communication and Journalism at the University of Technology Sydney. Before that, she had already entered the modelling industry as a teenager through Bareface Model Agency in Dubai.

Her work experience reads almost suspiciously organised for someone who survived reality television. Alizey interned at Harper’s Bazaar, worked within E! Networks handling social media connected to television personality Catt Sadler, and later joined Kendrick PR in London before moving into her current position at Biolite Aesthetic Clinic.

Since 2020, she has handled VIP Relations and Operations for the family business, helping strengthen the clinic’s profile across Dubai’s luxury beauty market. Outside of business, Alizey has steadily increased her visibility in international media and fashion spaces.

Her appearance at the Cannes Film Festival in 2021 pushed her further into luxury entertainment circles, while recognition at the Forbes Middle East Women’s Summit in 2025 as a Voice of Impact elevated her image beyond reality television fame.

Then came another visibility boost in March 2026, when she and Lailli appeared in Marie Claire Arabia. For viewers who assumed the twins would disappear after one Netflix season, that prediction aged badly quite fast.

Online reactions to the sisters still remain wildly divided, which honestly feels exactly how the twins would prefer it. Some viewers praise Alizey and Lailli for being entertaining, brutally honest and protective of their friends, calling them the reason the season stayed interesting whenever conversations became dull.

Others argue the twins occasionally came across as too confrontational or overly involved in cast drama. Still, even critics admit the sisters brought energy that reality television desperately relies on. A few netizens even joked that Desi Bling without the Mirza twins would have just been “people quietly drinking coffee in designer clothes”.

For now, both sisters appear fully focused on balancing fashion, business, media exposure and the kind of high-profile Dubai lifestyle that keeps audiences watching long after Netflix cameras stop rolling.

Whether another season of Desi Bling happens or not, Alizey Mirza and Lailli Mirza clearly understand how to stay relevant in an industry that forgets people fast. And judging by the constant online debates around them, viewers still have plenty to say about the twins. Love them or roll your eyes every time they enter a scene, people are definitely still talking.
