Thai GL fans have officially found their next emotional support series, and honestly, nobody is pretending to stay calm about it anymore. Upcoming romance drama Chasing Love (พี่เองก็ลำบาก) is already building serious hype ahead of its 29 May 2026 premiere, with viewers flooding social media after fresh production details, fitting photos and behind-the-scenes clips dropped online. Between the chemistry, the chaotic romance setup and the painfully attractive cast, this one already looks like it was engineered in a laboratory specifically to destroy sleep schedules.
Produced under CHANGE2561 ORIGINAL, the upcoming eight-episode series will air on One 31 and stream on oneD in Thailand. International fans, meanwhile, are expected to get access through official YouTube uploads with English subtitles, following the increasingly global release strategy many Thai GL productions have adopted over the past few years.
Additional streaming platforms are expected to be announced closer to release, May 29, 2026, which basically means international viewers are already preparing three backup plans and a VPN just in case.
Directed by Bo Pantip Vibultham, Chasing Love adapts the novel by Peony, telling the story of six women whose lives collide through heartbreak, emotional baggage and the deeply human habit of pretending we do not want love while absolutely wanting love.
Three women spend their lives running away from relationships, while three others stubbornly chase after the people they care about. It is romantic chaos with emotional damage included free of charge.
At the centre of the drama are rising leads Nile Chanidapa Sommitthanakul and Namwan Natchaya Vongbut, who play two women with completely opposite views on love.

Nile takes on the role of Sadanan, a calm and emotionally guarded woman carrying old scars she clearly refuses to unpack in therapy.
Namwan plays Piangrawin, a cheerful and fearless romantic who treats emotional rejection more like a minor inconvenience than a stopping point. Naturally, the contrast between the two is exactly why audiences are already obsessed.
The supporting cast adds even more fuel to the anticipation. Fay Apisara Lertwisettheerakul and Gene Ornalin Leelaburanathanakul reunite in another GL pairing that fans immediately recognised online, while Gift Sirinart Sugandharat and Aomsin Nuttharat Papirom round out the third couple dynamic with a more mature relationship angle.
The series also features veteran guest appearances from respected Thai actresses Duangjai Hiransri and Duangdao Jarujinda, giving the project an added layer of credibility beneath all the romantic tension and longing eye contact.
From early teaser material alone, Chasing Love appears to lean heavily into warm neighbourhood vibes, emotional storytelling and natural chemistry rather than overly dramatic twists.
The visuals are bright, the dialogue feels playful and the atmosphere carries that comforting slice-of-life energy Thai GL fans tend to love.

At the same time, the story is not shying away from emotional wounds or fear of intimacy. So yes, audiences will probably laugh one minute and stare blankly at the ceiling questioning their life choices the next.
Behind-the-scenes clips circulating across SNS platforms have only intensified excitement. Fans quickly pointed out the natural interaction between Nile and Namwan during fittings and rehearsals, with many saying the chemistry already feels effortless even before the official trailer has fully dropped.
Some viewers joked that the cast members seem suspiciously comfortable around each other for people supposedly “just acting”. Others declared the series their “2026 personality trait” weeks before release, which honestly feels a bit premature but also completely understandable.
Long-time Thai GL viewers praised CHANGE2561 for continuing to expand the genre with fresh pairings and more emotionally layered storytelling. Some fans are especially excited about the multiple-couple format, believing it will give the drama a wider emotional range instead of focusing on a single romance storyline.
Meanwhile, a few cautious viewers admitted they are trying not to become too emotionally attached before release because previous Thai GL dramas already left them emotionally unemployed for months afterward.
Chasing Love seems positioned right in the middle of that movement, balancing humour, intimacy and emotional vulnerability without losing its mainstream entertainment appeal.
As for how international fans can watch it, the current expectation is that episodes will first air on One 31 in Thailand before becoming available through official online platforms including YouTube with English subtitles.
More global distribution partners are still expected to be announced, especially given the increasing overseas demand for Thai GL content. Translation teams online are already preparing themselves like it is a national duty.
With only eight episodes planned, viewers are already hoping the drama avoids dragging out unnecessary misunderstandings and instead focuses on character growth, emotional healing and genuinely satisfying relationship development. Of course, this is still romance television, so somebody will almost certainly cry in the rain at some point. That part feels unavoidable.
For now, Chasing Love is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about Thai GL releases of 2026 before it has even aired a single episode. The real question now is simple: which couple is about to completely take over everyone’s timeline first once this finally premieres?
