Thai actress Baifern Pimchanok has unexpectedly become one of the latest celebrities publicly joining the ever-growing Zhao Lusi fan club, and the reaction online has been exactly what you would expect from Asian entertainment fans with too much emotional investment and fast Wi-Fi.

During a recent interview, Baifern Pimchanok openly admitted that she and her family have admired the Chinese actress for a long time, turning what could have been a routine celebrity Q&A into one of the most talked-about crossover moments among Thai and Chinese drama fans this week.

What caught attention most was how genuinely excited Baifern Pimchanok sounded while speaking about Zhao Lusi, especially when discussing videos of the actress interacting with fans online. According to Baifern, seeing Zhao Lusi warmly hug fans made her admiration grow even more.

“I saw videos of Zhao Lusi hugging fans and I became even more impressed,” Baifern Pimchanok shared. “I already knew she was very friendly, but that moment really touched me.”

The comment quickly spread across social media platforms, where fans immediately declared the interaction “the celebrity crossover nobody knew they needed”. Others joked that Zhao Lusi’s fanbase is now expanding beyond ordinary viewers and fully entering actress territory too.

Honestly, at this point, Zhao Lusi collecting celebrity admirers across Asia feels less surprising than people pretending not to be obsessed with her dramas.

Baifern also admitted that if she ever met Zhao Lusi in person, she might become too nervous to properly speak. That confession alone triggered thousands of reactions online because fans found it oddly relatable.

After all, this is Baifern Pimchanok — one of Thailand’s biggest stars — casually revealing she might freeze in front of another actress. The internet naturally responded with variations of “same girl, same”.

Still, despite the nerves, Baifern Pimchanok had a surprisingly wholesome idea about what she would want to do with Zhao Lusi if they ever spent time together.

Rather than discussing glamorous industry plans or dramatic acting workshops, she said she would simply like to play together with their pets. The unexpectedly soft answer made fans melt almost instantly, with many calling the interaction “cute enough to become a drama plot on its own”.

In terms of work, Baifern Pimchanok also made it clear she would absolutely welcome the opportunity to collaborate with Zhao Lusi someday. She said she would be very happy if the chance ever came. That single sentence was apparently enough for fans to start unofficial casting projects online within minutes.

Some suggested a romantic comedy, others pushed for a female-led friendship drama, while a few ambitious viewers somehow jumped straight into demanding a Netflix Asia original series. The entertainment industry moves slowly, but fandom imagination unfortunately does not.

The timing of Baifern Pimchanok’s comments has added even more attention because Zhao Lusi is currently in Bangkok preparing for her first Asia tour concert, “Stay Romantic”. The Chinese actress officially arrived in Thailand on 30 April 2026 and was welcomed at Suvarnabhumi International Airport by hundreds of fans.

Videos from the airport quickly circulated online, showing massive crowds gathering to catch a glimpse of the actress whose popularity across Asia has continued growing at an almost ridiculous speed over the past few years.

Known widely for hit dramas such as Hidden Love and Love Like the Galaxy, Zhao Lusi has built one of the strongest international fanbases among young Chinese actresses.

Her upcoming concert at Impact Arena in Bangkok on 9 May 2026 has already become one of the most anticipated entertainment events among regional fans, with many travelling from neighbouring countries just to attend.

While Zhao Lusi is reportedly focusing on intensive rehearsals during her stay in Thailand, the internet is already more interested in whether she has seen Baifern’s interview yet.

Online reactions have remained divided in the most entertaining way possible. Many fans praised Baifern Pimchanok for sounding sincere rather than performative, saying her admiration felt natural and refreshingly honest.

Others joked that Zhao Lusi now has enough celebrity fans to start her own support group. A smaller group of netizens even began debating which actress would become more nervous if they actually met face-to-face, which somehow became a serious discussion for several hours online.

Meanwhile, supporters from both Thai and Chinese entertainment circles are already hoping this interaction could eventually lead to a real friendship or future collaboration.

Considering how Asian entertainment industries have become increasingly connected in recent years, the idea no longer sounds impossible. And honestly, if two actresses known for charming audiences with warm personalities ever share the screen together, the internet may genuinely never recover from the collective excitement.

Whether this remains a sweet celebrity admiration moment or turns into something bigger professionally, fans clearly are not ready to let the topic disappear anytime soon.

So the real question now is simple: would you actually want to see Baifern Pimchanok and Zhao Lusi star in the same project together, or are fans already dreaming a little too hard?
