At the centre of the story is Seong Hui Ju, played by IU, a chaebol heiress who has money, brains and influence, yet lacks the one thing elite society still values most: noble blood.
Opposite her stands Grand Prince Ian, played by Byeon Woo Seok, a royal son with title and image but very little actual control. Naturally, the obvious solution is a contract marriage. Because nothing says emotional stability like marrying for strategy.
