iKON have confirmed Kuala Lumpur as one of the first cities on their upcoming “FOUREVER” world tour, marking a long-awaited return to Malaysia as the group prepares to relaunch global activities later this year.
The announcement, released on 1 April 2026 via the group’s official channels, sets out an ambitious multi-continent run beginning with a two-night opener in Seoul on 16 and 17 May. From there, the tour will move across Asia, Europe, North America and South America, with Kuala Lumpur locked in as a key Southeast Asian stop, though the exact date and venue remain under wraps.
Crucially, “FOUREVER” signals a temporary shift in line-up. Only four members will take part in the tour, with Ju-ne and DK absent due to mandatory military service.
That leaves Jay (Kim Jinhwan), Bobby, Song Yunhyeong, and Jung Chanwoo to front the performances, reshaping the group’s dynamic while maintaining its core identity built on hip-hop-driven sound and high-impact staging.
For Malaysian fans, this marks iKON’s first full-group return since their 2023 “Take Off” concert at what is now known as Unifi Arena.
In the interim, members have maintained visibility through solo appearances, notably Ju-ne’s set at KFINITY Music Festival, keeping local interest alive despite group inactivity.

What to expect from the Kuala Lumpur stop leans heavily on reinvention without losing familiarity. With a reduced line-up, the setlist is expected to be reworked to spotlight tighter vocal arrangements and more prominent rap sections led by Bobby, alongside refreshed choreography adapted for four performers.
Watchers anticipate a mix of legacy hits and newer material under 143 Entertainment, with production likely scaled for a more focused, performance-led experience rather than large ensemble staging.
Fan reaction has been immediate and mixed in tone but high in engagement. Malaysian iKONICs have welcomed the group’s return, with many framing it as overdue after years of limited group activity in the region.
At the same time, the absence of Ju-ne and DK has prompted discussion online, with some fans expressing concern over how the group’s signature vocal balance will translate live.
Others, however, see the “FOUREVER” concept as a necessary evolution, arguing that the pared-down format could offer a sharper, more intimate concert experience.
Across wider fan communities, there is also renewed interest in how iKON position themselves globally in 2026.
The decision to cover four continents in one tour cycle is being read as a clear statement of intent from both the group and their agency to reassert international relevance after a quieter period.
With key details for Kuala Lumpur still to be announced, anticipation is building around ticket demand and venue scale, particularly given the group’s established following in Malaysia and the relative scarcity of full-group appearances in recent years.
For now, the Kuala Lumpur date stands as one of the most closely watched stops on the “FOUREVER” schedule.. this tour is shaping up to be a defining moment for iKON’s next chapter.
Will this stripped-back line-up deliver something sharper than ever, or leave fans wanting more?
