The story of PRETZELLE did not end quietly with the group’s breakup. Months after the Thai pop act went their separate ways, two previously unheard songs have surfaced online, offering fans an unexpected final chapter to the group’s catalogue.

Japanese creator C.H.E.T. has officially released the tracks “Imagine” and “Ready or Not?”, both originally recorded during PRETZELLE’s active years.

The songs have now been completed and launched across digital music platforms alongside newly released music videos, turning what could have remained unfinished demos into a late but meaningful farewell.

For longtime followers of the Thai pop scene, PRETZELLE was more than just another idol group.

The quartet carved out a noticeable space in the Asian pop landscape with a blend of polished visuals, catchy melodies and a youthful image that resonated well beyond Thailand.

Their sudden disbandment left several creative projects unfinished, including collaborations with overseas producers.

Those collaborations are the reason these songs exist today. According to the creative team behind the release, both “Imagine” and “Ready or Not?” were developed during PRETZELLE’s partnership with Japanese music creators.

After the group disbanded, the production team decided to complete the songs as a gesture of appreciation for the artists and the memories built during their work together.

In that sense, the release functions less like a commercial comeback and more like a tribute project.

The creators described it as a small gift to fans and a way to ensure that the music created during that era would not simply disappear into an archive.

Musically, the two tracks show different sides of PRETZELLE’s sound.

“Imagine” leans into a softer direction, drawing clear inspiration from early-2000s US R&B. The arrangement is mellow and understated, allowing the members’ gentle vocals to carry the emotional core of the song.

Its warm production and reflective tone give it the feel of a quiet goodbye.

By contrast, “Ready or Not?” moves into brighter territory. The track is built as a light dance-pop number with upbeat rhythms and glossy pop production.

It blends contemporary Asian pop elements with a lively tempo designed to feel instantly accessible, making it the more energetic of the two releases.

For many listeners, the contrast between the songs highlights the range PRETZELLE had begun exploring before the group’s activities ended.

Some supporters describe the songs as a comforting final gift, saying it feels like hearing the group one last time. Others admit the release brings bittersweet feelings, reminding them of what PRETZELLE might have achieved had the group continued.

Several fans also praised the Japanese production team for finishing and sharing the tracks rather than leaving them unreleased. For those followers, the project reflects a rare moment of cross-border creative respect within the Asian pop industry.

At the same time, a few netizens questioned whether the songs should have been released without a full promotional cycle or direct involvement from the members themselves. Even so, most reactions agree on one point: hearing new PRETZELLE music after the disbandment was something few expected.

For fans, the release raises a simple but intriguing question: does this mark the true final page of PRETZELLE’s story, or could there still be more unreleased music waiting in the archives?
