Bangkok’s CentralWorld will once again become the meeting point for thousands of Thai drama and music fans when entertainment company GMMTV stages its annual fan celebration, GMMTV FANIVAL 2026. The two-week event, scheduled from 26 March to 6 April at CentralWorld PULSE on the seventh floor, will open its doors daily from 10.00 to 22.00 — and this year, entry is completely free.

For GMMTV, the festival is more than a promotional showcase. It has evolved into one of the company’s biggest public events, drawing fans of its drama stars, music artists and popular series into a single space filled with performances, fan activities and exclusive merchandise.

The 2026 edition arrives after the previous FANIVAL drew strong crowds, prompting organisers to expand the concept again with a broader line-up of interactive segments designed to keep visitors moving between stage shows, games and meet-and-greet opportunities throughout the day.

At the centre of the festival is the GMMTV SHOP, which will offer limited merchandise available only during the event period.

For many fans, the pop-up store has become one of the biggest attractions of FANIVAL, with exclusive goods often selling out quickly.

Another major highlight is the fansign lottery system. Visitors who participate will have the chance to win access to exclusive signing sessions with their favourite GMMTV artists. For long-time followers of the company’s dramas and music acts, the opportunity to meet performers in person remains one of the most sought-after experiences of the festival.

Entertainment will also spill across the venue through a colourful fandom character parade, where mascots and themed performers representing different GMMTV series appear throughout the day.

Organisers say the parade is designed to keep the atmosphere lively while giving fans plenty of photo opportunities.

On stage, the Artists Showcase segment will feature appearances by several of the company’s well-known performers.

These live sets are expected to include songs, special collaborations and short performances tied to ongoing GMMTV projects.

Fans who want a closer look at the industry side of things will be able to attend GMMTV Talk, a talk-show style session featuring actors from various GMMTV series.

These discussions typically explore behind-the-scenes stories from productions and often include the launch of novels or story projects connected to popular shows.

Another segment, GMMTV Live House on Stage, offers something different: audiences can watch the process of a live broadcast or production recording unfold directly in front of them, turning the stage into a working studio for the duration of the programme.

Beyond the stage events, organisers promise a full schedule of interactive games and activities across the venue, with visitors able to compete for prizes throughout the day.

Online reactions from fans and netizens have already started to build momentum. Some fans say the free entry makes the festival far more accessible than many fan events, especially for younger audiences.

Others are already discussing travel plans to Bangkok, with international followers from Southeast Asia saying they may visit the event while it runs.

There are also discussions about which GMMTV actors and artists might appear during the Artists Showcase and talk sessions. While the full line-up has not yet been revealed, speculation among fans suggests appearances from several well-known names from the company’s recent drama hits.

At the same time, some fans online have pointed out that the fansign lottery system could become highly competitive given the expected turnout. Still, most reactions lean positive, with many calling the event one of the most anticipated gatherings on the GMMTV calendar.

With two weeks of programming, exclusive merchandise and the promise of direct fan interaction, GMMTV FANIVAL 2026 is shaping up to be one of Bangkok’s busiest entertainment gatherings this spring.

Are you planning to attend the festival in Bangkok, or hoping to see your favourite GMMTV artists appear on stage?
