| Battle of Fates Episode 10 Recap, Review and Ending Explained: Who Wins the Finale of Disney+’s Fortune-Telling Show? (Image via: Disney+) |
The finale of Battle of Fates has landed on Disney+, wrapping up a 10-episode contest that turned spiritual practice into primetime competition. Episode 10 delivers tension, rivalry and one unresolved result, as South Korea’s most reputed destiny interpreters battle for credibility in front of judges, cameras and a sceptical public.
Promoted as a gathering of 49 leading figures in tarot, mudang ritual practice and saju calculation, the programme strips away private consultation rooms and replaces them with timed trials, public scrutiny and scoreboard pressure. Insight is no longer whispered. It is measured.
After the earlier Battle of Qi, the series moved into its third round, the Battle of Synergy. Four factions emerged, inspired by East Asian mythic guardians: Cheongryong (Azure Dragon), Baekho (White Tiger), Jujak (Vermilion Bird), and Hyeonmu (Black Tortoise).
In the White Tiger chamber stood Young Master Jiseon, Noh Seulbi, and Kim Baekmun.
The Azure Dragon side featured Seolhwa, Lee Sobin, and Choi Hannah.
Representing Vermilion Bird were Yoon Daeman, Monad, and Manshin Kwon Sujin.
Under Black Tortoise gathered Lady Wish, Pie, and Young Master Plum Blossom.
Only two teams could progress. The stakes were clear: six contenders would survive.

The first test was financial discernment. Eleven candidates stood before them. Five reportedly held assets exceeding 10 billion won.
Teams had 100 minutes to analyse life charts and identify the affluent figures. When a faction believed they were correct, they rang the Wall of Truth bell. A crescent emblem would illuminate if validated.
It was the red faction, Vermilion Bird — Yoon Daeman, Monad, and Manshin Kwon Sujin — who triumphed in this high-pressure wealth assessment.
The second task shifted to family destiny. Eleven married couples entered. Five households had multiple children; six did not. Contestants were required to interpret marital fate and offspring indicators.
This time, Azure Dragon prevailed. Seolhwa, Lee Sobin, and Choi Hannah secured survival through measured comparative readings. Six contenders advanced.
The competition then escalated into the Battle of Gods — one-on-one duels interpreting a single guest’s fortune.
The first guest was Super Junior’s Shindong, who selected Seolhwa and Choi Hannah. The exchange was sharp and controlled, but it was Seolhwa who ultimately edged ahead, earning strong praise from the judging panel.
Next came Dr. Lyuh Esther, choosing Monad and Lee Sobin. In that confrontation, Lee Sobin delivered a more convincing interpretation and claimed victory.
The final guest, chef Jung Jisun, placed her fate in the hands of Yoon Daeman and Manshin Kwon Sujin. Their duel ended in a 2–2 tie.
No decisive winner. No immediate resolution. Episode 10 closes on that cliffhanger, leaving viewers debating who truly had the upper hand.

So Who Wins Battle of Fates?
Two finalists have clearly emerged: Seolhwa and Lee Sobin, after eliminating Choi Hannah and Monad respectively. Meanwhile, the tied result between Manshin Kwon Sujin and Yoon Daeman remains unresolved.
The finale positions Seolhwa and Lee Sobin as the defining rivalry of the season. One rooted in composed intuition, the other in structured calculation. The show deliberately stops short of offering complete closure, instead leaning into anticipation.
Online reaction has been mixed — but engaged. Some viewers praised the programme for presenting traditional practices in a competitive format without turning it into spectacle. Others questioned whether intuition can ever be fairly “scored” under timed conditions.
Support for Seolhwa surged after her win against Choi Hannah, with fans highlighting her calm delivery. Meanwhile, Lee Sobin’s supporters argue her analytical precision gives her the edge.
Debate over the 2–2 tie has sparked the loudest discussions, with many claiming a tiebreaker was necessary to avoid an anticlimax.
Yet most agree on one point: the format has people talking.

Will There Be a Battle of Fates Season 2?
As of now, Disney+ has not officially confirmed a second season of Battle of Fates. Industry chatter suggests continuation is possible, but there is no formal renewal announcement. For now, talk of Season 2 remains rumour rather than fact.
With strong engagement and a finale that refuses neat closure, the door is clearly open.
Episode 10 is now streaming on Disney+.
Did the right interpreters reach the finale? Should the tie have been settled on the spot? And if Season 2 happens, who deserves a comeback?
