The recent (G)I-DLE/i-dle concert in Seoul unexpectedly turned into one of the most talked-about celebrity gatherings of the week, with top names from both China and South Korea spotted in the crowd. Among them were Bai Lu and Joseph Zeng Shunxi, the former on-screen duo from the drama Feud (临江仙), whose joint appearance instantly sent fans into detective mode.
Even before the concert night, Bai Lu’s trip to South Korea had already sparked online chatter. When she landed in Seoul, fans waiting at the airport asked about her schedule, and she openly shared that attending the (G)I-DLE concert was one of her key plans.

However, fans were quick to break down the situation calmly. According to those who analysed the video clips more carefully, the so-called “leaning” moment was simply an optical illusion.
When Song Yuqi introduced Bai Lu from the stage, Bai Lu’s view was blocked by Li Chen, who was seated in front of her. She had to lean slightly to the side to get a better view, which from a certain angle made it look more intimate than it actually was.
Supporters also pointed out that Bai Lu did not attend the concert alone with Joseph Zeng. She was accompanied by her assistant, who is also her close friend.
