The recent (G)I-DLE/i-dle concert in Seoul unexpectedly turned into one of the most talked-about celebrity gatherings of the week, with top names from both China and South Korea spotted in the crowd. Among them were Bai Lu and Joseph Zeng Shunxi, the former on-screen duo from the drama Feud (临江仙), whose joint appearance instantly sent fans into detective mode.

Even before the concert night, Bai Lu’s trip to South Korea had already sparked online chatter. When she landed in Seoul, fans waiting at the airport asked about her schedule, and she openly shared that attending the (G)I-DLE concert was one of her key plans.

The reason? Her close friend Song Yuqi, who is a member of the group. That simple comment alone was enough to build anticipation.

But the concert wasn’t just about idol-fan friendship. Audience cameras captured a proper celebrity lineup.

Members of Super Junior, Donghae and Ryeowook, were seen enjoying the show. Actress Lee Hyeri, singer Choi Yena, actor Lee Jun, and LE SSERAFIM’s Kim Chaewon were also spotted sitting together, casually vibing to the performance.

On the Chinese side, the surprises continued. Popular variety show Keep Running had its own mini reunion in the audience.

Li Chen and Chen He were seen cheering enthusiastically, while Fan Chengcheng and Li Yunrui reportedly sat side by side, fully immersed in the concert atmosphere.

Bai Lu and Joseph Zeng’s Joint Appearance at (G)I-DLE Concert Fuels Romance Speculation

Amid the flashing light sticks and roaring cheers, Bai Lu and Joseph Zeng were also seen attending together. And that’s where things got interesting.

A blurry back-view photo quickly circulated online, with some netizens claiming the two looked “very close” and appeared to be leaning on each other during the show.

The image spread fast, especially among fans of their on-screen pairing in Feud, reigniting discussions about their chemistry beyond the drama.

Some netizens also questioned why Bai Lu, who is a regular member of Keep Running, was not seated with her fellow cast members. Instead, she was seen sitting in the back row with Joseph Zeng, which fuelled further speculation.

However, fans were quick to break down the situation calmly. According to those who analysed the video clips more carefully, the so-called “leaning” moment was simply an optical illusion.

When Song Yuqi introduced Bai Lu from the stage, Bai Lu’s view was blocked by Li Chen, who was seated in front of her. She had to lean slightly to the side to get a better view, which from a certain angle made it look more intimate than it actually was.

Supporters also pointed out that Bai Lu did not attend the concert alone with Joseph Zeng. She was accompanied by her assistant, who is also her close friend.

Both Bai Lu and Joseph Zeng later shared photos from their Korea trip, including backstage snapshots with Song Yuqi, making it clear that the visit was primarily about supporting a friend rather than creating headlines.

Some CP supporters were thrilled, calling the moment “unexpected but cute” and praising their natural interaction.
Others took a more rational stance, urging people not to overinterpret a few seconds captured from a blurry angle.

Meanwhile, casual viewers simply enjoyed seeing so many Asian stars under one roof, calling it a rare cross-industry gathering that felt refreshingly organic.
