Chinese actor Qu Chuxiao has once again found himself in the public spotlight after his studio officially released a copy of a second-instance court verdict, aiming to put long-running rumours to rest once and for all.
On 4 January, Qu Chuxiao’s management team shared the appeal court’s written decision, confirming that the actor was not proven to have committed any abusive behaviour toward his former partner.
The move comes after old claims resurfaced online and began circulating widely on social media platforms.

According to the court document, the plaintiff, identified as He, acknowledged during the hearing that she was not pregnant at the time she made her earlier social media posts related to the case.
The court also clearly stated that Qu Chuxiao did not engage in any physical confrontation or harmful conduct toward her.
In their official statement, the studio stressed that the ruling leaves no room for misinterpretation.
They explained that despite the court’s clear conclusion, certain individuals have continued to revive the old issue, using it as click-bait material and spreading information that does not align with the legal findings.
Because of this, the team said they felt it was necessary to make the court verdict public, hoping to correct misunderstandings and stop further speculation from gaining traction.
The studio also urged relevant parties to respect the legal outcome, including fulfilling the court-ordered requirement to issue a public apology.
Qu Chuxiao’s legal representatives added that they are still collecting evidence related to newly surfaced claims and have not ruled out taking additional legal action to protect the actor’s lawful rights and reputation.
Public attention around the case flared up again after influencer Si Xiaodi questioned the validity of the allegations in a social media post, sparking heated discussion and renewed debate among netizens.
