Japanese actress Nao Minamisawa has officially welcomed 2026 with joyful personal news. On 1 January, she announced her marriage to tap dancer Yuki Adachi, marking the New Year with what she described as a meaningful and hopeful beginning for both of them.

Sharing the update through her social media, Nao Minamisawa appeared in elegant traditional Japanese attire and explained that announcing the marriage on New Year’s Day felt especially symbolic. 

She expressed happiness at being able to start the year by sharing such an important milestone, adding that she and her partner hope to continue respecting, supporting, and encouraging each other as they move forward together.

The couple first met through work around two years ago, gradually building a relationship rooted in mutual understanding and shared values.

Nao Minamisawa described her husband as a kind, humorous, and dependable person who consistently supports her ambitions, both personally and professionally.

Yuki Adachi also shared his own message alongside photos in traditional formal wear. 

He echoed Minamisawa’s sentiments, saying he was grateful to announce their marriage at the very start of the year. 

While humbly admitting they are still learning as a couple, he emphasised their wish to create a warm, laughter-filled home and to walk forward side by side with steady commitment.

She is widely remembered for her role in the drama Bloody Monday, as well as acclaimed stage productions such as The Dream Keeper.
