Japanese pianist Hayato Sumino, widely known by his online name Cateen, has started 2026 by sharing joyful personal news with his fans. On 1 January, the 30-year-old musician posted a handwritten letter on his social media, officially announcing his marriage and thanking supporters for standing by him throughout his journey.
In the message, Hayato Sumino revealed that he has married someone he had been in a long-term relationship with.
He described his partner as a person who works behind the scenes rather than in the public eye, but someone he deeply respects for their quiet strength, kindness, and consideration for others.
He also shared that this partner has been a constant and heartfelt supporter of his musical career, both professionally and personally.
