Malaysian internet personality Bryan Wee has announced a major personal reset, revealing that he is ready to return to living as a man after years of public attention built around his female persona. The decision marks both an identity shift and a clear step away from the influencer lifestyle that once brought him visibility and fast success.
In a video shared on 1 January, Bryan made the announcement in a symbolic and emotional way. He appeared wearing a bridal gown and tiara, before cutting off his long hair on camera, signalling a farewell to the chapter that defined much of his online presence in recent years.
Speaking candidly, Bryan said he no longer wishes to live as a woman or continue life as an influencer.
He explained that the decision comes from personal clarity rather than regret, stressing that his past experiences shaped him but no longer reflect who he wants to be.

“I don’t want to be a woman anymore, and I don’t want to be an influencer anymore either,” he said, adding that he hopes people will stop referring to him by that label.
Moments later, Bryan exited the frame and returned dressed in a white tuxedo, reinforcing the message that he is stepping into a new phase of life as himself.

In a reflective post shared hours after the video, Bryan Wee clarified that returning to his male identity does not mean erasing his past.

“I don’t regret any of the choices I’ve made,” he wrote. “It’s precisely because I care about that version of myself that I decided to move on.”
