Macau lit up in full glam mode last night as iQIYI Scream Night 2025 rolled out its annual red carpet spectacle — and this year’s theme, “Powering Up with Love, Scream Out Loud”, did exactly what it promised. From dazzling stage performances to a packed winners’ lineup across dramas, films, and variety shows, the show felt like a full-scale celebration of everything audiences obsessed over in 2025.
The event also brought back the fan-favourite Scream Carnival, adding that playful, festival-style energy before the big awards rolled in. And as expected, the results had viewers buzzing long after the lights went down.
Variety Takes Centre Stage
The variety show unit was stacked, but the biggest cheers went to Hahahaha Season 5, The Blooming Journey Season 2, and Become a Farmer Season 3, which were crowned Outstanding Variety Shows of the Year.
Dong Xuan and Wan Qianhui continued to dominate discussions with their Annual Variety Show Performance win, while TenDay walked away with Annual Variety Group, solidifying their strong 2025 run.

Meanwhile, The Blooming Journey added another feather to its cap by winning Family Variety Show of the Year, showing just how firmly it sits in the hearts of viewers.
The film segment had its own share of standouts. Bleed for Past was awarded Annual Online Film, while titles like The Shadow’s Edge and AI-driven short film winner My Home is Under the Fireworks were named Outstanding Films of the Year.
Legendary performers shined too: Tong Liya was announced Actress of the Year, while Tony Leung Ka-fai secured Actor of the Year.

In a pleasant surprise, Yang Zi earned Director of the Year in the film unit, marking one of the night’s most talked-about achievements.
The “Overseas Unit” brought a burst of regional star power:

TOP was named Asia-Pacific Newcomer Group of the Year,

Zhang Ruonan snagged Asia-Pacific Outstanding Actor, and

Meng Ziyi claimed Asia-Pacific Popular Artist of the Year.

With how explosive C-dramas were this year, the drama categories were expectedly competitive.
A Dream Within A Dream (书卷一梦) joined Moonlight Mystique and The Demon Hunter’s Romance in the coveted National Hall — a distinction reserved for titles that dominated both charts and conversation.
This Thriving Land took home Drama King of the Year, while Silent Honor was honoured as Annual Influential TV Series.
