| Paparazzi Claims Ziyu’s Stalker Lives in the Same Residential Complex — Weibo Erupts in Debate (Photo: Weibo) |
A fresh bit of online chaos hit Weibo on Wednesday (26 Nov) after well-known entertainment paparazzi Liu Dachui dropped an eyebrow-raising claim about rising actor ZiYu.
According to Liu, an extreme fan — more commonly labelled a sasaeng — hasn’t just been hanging around outside the gate of Zi Yu’s home. Instead, he alleges that the individual is actually living inside the same high-end housing complex.
For context, this residential area is famous for its tight, multi-layered security system. Several artists reportedly chose it precisely because it’s supposed to keep strangers out and shield them from unwanted attention.
So the idea that someone managed to slip through those layers and secure residence has left the internet buzzing — and many fans concerned.
Atmosphere Turns Tense Among Residents
The rumour has apparently created an uneasy mood among artists living in the complex.
Some are said to be avoiding their usual outdoor strolls or gym visits, worried they might be filmed or followed without realising it.
While none of these concerns have been formally confirmed, the conversation online shows that people are taking the claim seriously.
Crucially, Liu Dachui’s statement remains just a claim at this stage.
No verifiable evidence has surfaced, and neither the paparazzi nor anyone else has explained how such an incident could have happened in a heavily restricted community.

Official Fan Club Speaks Up
Ziyu’s official fan club had already raised the alarm earlier on 23 November 2025. In a public statement, they urged his agency, Ruihe Entertainment, to level up security around the actor.
Their requests included:
-
reinforcing existing protective measures
-
assigning more trained security personnel
-
issuing regular updates to reassure worried supporters
The club emphasised that these suggestions stem from rising concerns about privacy breaches surrounding the actor.
Ziyu was being harassed again, no matter how much he told them to stop, they wouldn't, they fled in a car and he called the police. It's trending number one on weibo and everyone is supporting him#RevengedLove #逆爱 #ziyu pic.twitter.com/y3J5VCIxUJ

Management Maintains Silence
Up to the time of writing, Ruihe Entertainment has not addressed the viral rumour.
Their most recent update, posted on 17 November, focused on unrelated content and made zero mention of the alleged situation inside the residential complex.
This silence has only fuelled more speculation online, as fans wonder whether the agency is investigating the matter quietly or simply waiting for the conversation to cool down.
Regardless of whether the claim turns out to be true, the discussion has once again highlighted a growing issue — even top-tier security estates don’t always guarantee peace for public figures. With celebrities increasingly opting for gated, surveillance-heavy communities, this rumour has sparked a broader debate about whether personal safety can ever be fully assured in the current era of constant attention.
