Rosy Zhao Lusi Confirms Independence: New Studio, Fresh Start, and a Comeback Fans Have Been Waiting For

Chinese actress Rosy Zhao Lusi has finally taken back the reins of her career. During her 27th birthday fanmeet, the beloved star emotionally revealed that she has officially established her own independent studio, marking what she described as a “new beginning” both professionally and personally.

The studio’s statement, shared via Weibo on 8 November 2025, read:

“The new journey has begun, the road ahead is bright — this time, we set out anew.”

Fans were quick to interpret this as confirmation that Zhao Lusi is no longer under Galaxy Cool Entertainment, the agency she had been locked in conflict with since mid-2025.

A Fresh Start After a Long Struggle

The announcement came almost a year after Zhao Lusi’s well-publicised dispute with Ku Media, her management under Galaxy Cool Entertainment.

Reports suggested that the tension had been simmering for years and even contributed to her declining health during 2024, when she was temporarily unable to work and relied on live streams to stay connected with fans.

Her latest hit drama, “Love’s Ambition,” was achieved with minimal promotion — yet its success only reinforced her resilience and acting power.

The new studio’s behind-the-scenes clip from the show added a symbolic touch: Zhao Lusi, as Xu Yan, rises from setbacks and learns to walk toward her own light — mirroring the actress’s real-life comeback.

Subtle Signs of Independence

Not long after the fanmeet, netizens noticed that Zhao Lusi Studio’s Weibo profile had been updated — all mentions of “Galaxy Cool Entertainment (银河酷娱)” were quietly removed.

The account’s IP location now points to Sichuan, Zhao Lusi’s hometown, while the old company email was replaced with a new contact address for future collaborations.

While her team hasn’t officially confirmed whether she’s joined a new management group, entertainment insiders have linked her to Hujing Digital Media & Entertainment, a subsidiary of Alibaba.

Others speculate she might partner with Whale Culture or Tiger Whale Entertainment, both connected to Youku.

For now, her studio remains fully independent — and fans couldn’t be happier.

Fans Welcome the “New Rosy Era”

Online, the hashtag #ZhaoLusiNewBeginning trended shortly after the studio’s post.

Many long-time fans described her announcement as “a rebirth”, celebrating her courage to stand on her own after such a difficult chapter.

“She deserves peace, freedom, and the career she wants,” one fan wrote.

“This isn’t just a new studio — it’s Zhao Lusi’s new era,” another commented.

Her studio’s poetic statement also reflected that same sentiment:

“In Love’s Ambition, she is Xu Yan — finding direction in confusion, rising from setbacks, and bravely walking toward her own light. In real life, she is Zhao Lusi — breaking her limits, staying true to her passion for acting, and proving her dedication as a young actress.”

From Chengdu to Stardom: Zhao Lusi’s Remarkable Journey

Born 9 November 1998 in Chengdu, Sichuan, Zhao Lusi made her name through a string of fan-favourite hits like Oh! My Emperor, The Romance of Tiger and Rose, Love Like the Galaxy, The Long Ballad, Who Rules the World, Hidden Love, and The Last Immortal.

Her recent break from acting began in late 2024 after she reportedly suffered from severe stress-related illness, forcing her to halt all activities.

In August 2025, she made headlines after accusing her management of unfair treatment, later disappearing from social media with a heartbreaking message — “I can’t do this anymore.”

Now, only three months later, she’s back in the spotlight, stronger and with a clearer vision for her career.

What’s Next for Zhao Lusi

While no upcoming drama has been officially announced, her fans are already anticipating a major comeback project in 2026.

With her new studio’s independence and an enormous fan base across Asia, Zhao Lusi’s next chapter looks nothing short of promising.

As her team perfectly summed up:

“We treasure every memory from the past — and from this moment, we’re setting the lights and music for a new beginning.”

TL;DR: Zhao Lusi has officially left Galaxy Cool Entertainment and launched her own independent studio in Sichuan. After a turbulent year marked by health struggles and a public agency dispute, she’s back — stronger, freer, and ready to rebuild her career under her own name.
