Chinese actor Hao Yiran, who’s been climbing the ranks in the mainland BL drama scene thanks to his rising popularity in To My Shore (吾岸), has once again found himself at the centre of public curiosity — not because of a new project, but because of the classic million-dollar question: “Is he dating anyone?”
Turns out, the answer is pretty straightforward.
During a recent local media interview promoting his latest drama, the actor was asked about his relationship status — something fans have been debating endlessly on social media.
And Hao Yi Ran, without dodging the topic, simply laughed and said:
“No, I’m not dating anyone at the moment.”
When pressed on the reason, the actor explained that his schedule has been absolutely packed with filming, preparation, and upcoming projects.
“I have a lot of things to do. Even if I did have a partner, I’d barely have time to talk on the phone, let alone meet regularly,” he admitted.
According to him, love isn’t off the table forever — just not something he’s prioritising right now.
“Maybe just let things flow naturally. But not for now, obviously,” he added calmly.
