| AKB48 Teams Up with Wendy’s First Kitchen for a Colourful Year-End Collab Across Japan |
AKB48 is closing out the year with a playful new venture, officially announcing a special collaboration with Wendy’s First Kitchen. Set to kick off on 2 December 2025, the campaign will run across five selected stores in Japan, offering fans a limited-time dining experience packed with exclusive menus, themed décor, and collectible merchandise.
During the campaign period, the participating Wendy’s First Kitchen outlets will be transformed with vibrant AKB48 visuals. From in-store posters to bespoke decorations, each location will serve as a mini celebration zone for the group’s 20th anniversary.
Fans visiting these stores can fully immerse themselves in the collaboration atmosphere while enjoying the exclusive items on offer.
The collab features newly shot photos of AKB48 members dressed in original Wendy’s-inspired outfits as well as the iconic blue-and-white “Iiwake Maybe” costumes.
These visuals appear not only throughout the stores but also across all limited-edition merchandise, available only while stocks last.
Signature Menu: Collaboration Flavour Potato with Japanese Dashi

The highlight of the food lineup is the Collaboration Flavour Potato, seasoned with a Japanese-style dashi blend created specially for the event.
The set is priced at 780 yen and includes one original A4 clear file.
There are 20 designs in total, each showcasing a different member in the signature blue-and-white costume. Fans won’t be able to choose the design, adding a bit of excitement to each purchase.
This exclusive potato flavour and its original packaging are limited and will end once supplies run out.
New Dishes Picked by the Members Themselves

The collaboration doesn’t stop at fries. Several AKB48 members contributed to designing the limited-time food and drink lineup, including:
-
Chicken burger with extra vegetables, selected by Oguri Yui and Yamauchi Mizuki
-
Mentaiko cheese pasta, chosen by Chiba Erii
-
Peach milk tapioca, picked by Ito Momoka
-
Chocolate latte, selected by Yagi Azuki and Kuranoo Narumi
-
Strawberry cider, representing Sato Airi and Mukaichi Mion
These items are available only at the five specially decorated Wendy’s First Kitchen stores and will not be sold at other branches.
Each purchase of a special menu item comes with a bonus: one original coaster (20 types available, given at random), along with an order sheet granting access to buy collaboration-exclusive goods.
Limited Goods and In-Store Bonuses
Fans who prefer collecting merch won’t be disappointed.
