Why Did Dilraba Dilmurat Cancel Her Night Shoots? Official Statement Explains the Reason

Chinese actress Dilraba Dilmurat (迪丽热巴) has once again become the centre of online chatter, but this time it’s not about her new drama or red-carpet look — it’s her health that’s got fans worried.

The Eternal Love star was said to have fallen ill recently, prompting speculation and concern from fans across Weibo, X (Twitter), and various fan communities.

According to Jinyun News, Dilraba has been suffering from flu-like symptoms and a persistent cough since around September.

During a recent livestream, many fans noticed her slightly heavy nasal tone and frequent coughing, leading to rising concern about whether she’s been overworking herself again.

💬 Official statement clears the air

On 10 November, Dilraba’s official fan communication account finally released a clarification post addressing her health.

The statement confirmed that the actress had already consulted a doctor and was currently resting and recovering under proper care.

“She has already seen a doctor earlier and is currently in recovery under proper care. Please rest assured that she’s gradually getting better,” the post read.

The management’s update brought huge relief to her fans, who quickly filled the comments with supportive messages like “Get well soon, Reba!” and “Please take more rest, your health comes first.”

🎬 Filming schedule affected but health comes first

Reports suggest that Dilraba had to cancel or postpone several night shoots for her ongoing project due to her condition.

She’s currently working on a fantasy romance mini-series titled Even if You Can’t Have It All (tentative title), alongside Taiwanese actor Edward Chen.

This project follows her recent involvement in Shaolin Women’s Soccer, a spin-off reportedly connected to Stephen Chow’s production team.

With her packed filming calendar this year, many fans have voiced concern that her tight workload might have contributed to her fatigue.

🌸 Fans send waves of support

Across social media, “#DilrabaDilmuratHealth” became a trending topic as fans expressed both concern and affection.

Many urged her management to reduce her workload, noting that she’s often seen filming late into the night.

One top comment read:

“She’s been working non-stop for months. Hope the team gives her proper time to rest before continuing any new shoots.”

Others pointed out that Dilraba has always been known for her strong work ethic and professionalism, often continuing with filming even under tough conditions.

Born in June 1992 in Xinjiang, Dilraba Dilmurat has long been one of China’s most recognisable stars.

She rose to national fame through hit dramas like Diamond Lover, Eternal Love, Eternal Love of Dream, and You Are My Glory

With her combination of charm, talent, and striking visuals, she remains one of the most bankable actresses in the industry.

Recently, there were also rumours about Dilraba parting ways with her agency Jaywalk Studio, but the company quickly shut down those claims on Weibo, calling them “completely false.”
