The internet has once again entered detective mode thanks to a new video from “Sister Amy”, the woman long rumoured to have founded an exclusive “pickup artist training camp” for women hoping to marry celebrities. And yes, this is the same name that has floated around Wilber Pan and his wife, Luna Xuan, for years.
Back in 2020, Wilber Pan shocked the industry after suddenly announcing that he’d tied the knot with Luna, a former flight attendant from China.
The pair have stayed incredibly low-key since, reportedly welcoming a daughter that same year. But despite their quiet married life, speculation about how they met has never quite died down.
Where the Rumours Started
The whole “training camp” narrative really took off when Chinese billionaire heir Wang Sicong made a pointed comment after the couple went public.
He basically said: Amy must be impressive — two of her top “students” married superstar Aaron Kwok and Wilber Pan.
That single line fuelled years of gossip about an alleged etiquette-cum-courtship programme run by Amy, supposedly teaching women how to secure a celebrity husband. Luna and Moka Fang (Aaron Kwok’s wife) were often named as examples.

Amy, however, has always stayed silent… until now.
Amy Finally Speaks Out
In a new Xiaohongshu video, Amy — who is actually an artiste manager, not a coach — finally addressed the rumours. And according to her, there’s no “training camp”, no special grooming programme, and definitely no elite matchmaking course.
What she did admit to, though, is playing a crucial behind-the-scenes role in bringing Wilber and Luna together. But it wasn’t as dramatic as the internet imagined.
According to Amy, it all began when Luna Xuan quietly approached her and asked if she could be introduced to Wilber. Not in a scheming way — more like a genuine fan who enjoyed his music and wanted to get to know him.

The Real Story: Small Gatherings, Not Secret Lessons
Amy explained that she only helped by introducing friends to each other, something she claimed she did often. As a mutual friend to both parties, she arranged their first meeting. Afterwards, she deliberately organised several small get-togethers to help the two get comfortable around each other.
It started with big karaoke sessions of ten to twenty people. Gradually, she scaled them down to intimate dinners of four to six. The idea? Let the pair interact naturally without the pressure of a full crowd.
During these hangouts, Luna apparently stood out. Amy said Luna was always polite, soft-spoken, and never competed for attention — a refreshing contrast to the lively and competitive social circles in Shanghai.
Amy also noticed that Wilber Pan seemed to have a favourable impression of Luna, so she gently steered conversations towards them, creating moments for them to talk more.
She added that she has always had a knack for spotting someone’s “spark” and amplifying it — something she believes helped nudge the couple closer.

The Twist: Amy Found Out About Their Marriage Through the News
Perhaps the most surprising part of Amy’s video is that she claimed she had no idea the two were getting married.
She only found out the same time everyone else did — through the media announcement.
Why Everyone’s Talking About This Again
Wilber Pan previously said he met Luna by chance on a plane. Amy’s detailed account of introductions, planned gatherings, and match-style nudging doesn’t quite line up with that story.
The discrepancy has kicked up a fresh wave of discussion online, with many now revisiting the origins of Wilber and Luna’s relationship.
Was it fate? Was it a mutual friend’s subtle matchmaking? Or a bit of both?
Whatever the truth is, Amy’s new video has reignited interest in a love story the public assumed they already knew — reminding everyone that celebrity romance often has far more layers than the polished version we hear.
