| Yukari Sasaki Returns as Producer for Strobo Agency’s Upcoming Idol Group |
Former AKB48 member Sasaki Yukari is officially stepping into a new chapter — not as a performer, but as the visionary behind the creation of a new idol group under Strobo Agency.
The agency, currently home to AKB48’s Haruna Hashimoto, has announced the formation of a fresh, original idol unit set to debut by the end of February 2026.
According to the announcement, Sasaki Yukari will take the lead during the group’s pre-debut phase, personally guiding the formation process and sharing updates with fans through TikTok and YouTube.
From the early training sessions to debut preparations, fans can look forward to watching their growth journey in real time.
Aiming for the Budokan Dream
The concept behind the project focuses on artistry, elegance, and individuality — with Strobo describing it as a group that “balances technical skill and refined character, filled with creativity and personality.”
Their long-term goal? To perform a solo concert at the legendary Nippon Budokan, a milestone every idol dreams of.
Sasaki Yukari herself expressed her desire to create a group where passion and determination matter more than experience, encouraging aspiring members to join with the mindset of aiming for “No.1 together.”
