| Cyndi Wang Calmly Addresses Kenji Wu Romance Rumours Again |
Taiwanese pop sweetheart Cyndi Wang Xinling has once again addressed those long-standing romance rumours with fellow singer Kenji Wu Kequn — and she’s keeping it cool as ever.
During a public event on 6 November, Cyndi Wang was asked about the speculation surrounding her and Kenji after the two were spotted together at an airport earlier this year.
With a calm smile, she replied, “He has always been a very good friend of mine.”
When pressed further about whether Kenji could be “the one” in the future, Cyndi Wang simply laughed it off, saying, “If every good friend became a life partner, I’d run out of a reputation soon!”
Her playful answer once again put the romance talk to rest — at least for now.
Despite the never-ending headlines, the singer remains focused on her career.
She’s currently busy preparing for the final leg of her ‘Sugar High 2.0 World Tour’, which will wrap up at Taipei Arena on 23 and 24 January next year.
Before that, she’ll be performing across the US and mainland China this November, with back-to-back shows scheduled.
Cyndi Wang shared that she’s been taking extra care of her health to keep up with the hectic schedule — exercising regularly, wearing a mask during travels, and loading up on vitamins.
When asked if her tight schedule leaves any room for love, she admitted, “I’m trying my best, but I’m really busy. Right now, work is my closest partner.”
She added that when she does get a bit of downtime, she prefers to spend it with her family.
“If I have even a little free time, I’ll make sure to meet my mum or have my family visit me in Taipei,” she said, emphasising that family time and work-life balance are her current priorities.
